A few weeks ago, in one of our weekend rounds of Disney fun, we took a look at the Disney Villains as we asked our DIS community to nominate the scariest of all the evil characters. Across our social platforms, most people opted for Cruella De Vil, offering the simple explanation ‘puppies.’ I thought it somewhat coincidental that just yesterday, Walt Disney Studios revealed a clip of The Little Mermaid cast doing a similar exercise as they rated each of the villains. See what Halle Bailey, Melissa McCarthy, Daveed Diggs, and Awkwafina thought about some of Disney’s evil characters on the evil scale.
Holt McCallany and Julianne Nicholson have joined the cast of 20th Century Studios’ new CIA thriller, Amatuer, according to Deadline. What’s Happening: Amateur tells the story of Charles Heller (Rami Malek), a CIA cryptographer who, after his wife is tragically killed in a London terrorist attack, demands his bosses go after them. When it becomes […]
A photo op featuring Cinderella’s Carriage has returned to Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World.
Cinderella’s Carriage Photo Op
We stopped by Magic Kingdom and noticed that a popular photo op has returned.
Cinderella’s Royal Coach has appeared in Fantasyland near the stone archways by Prince Charming Regal Carousel.
The carriage, or coach, is pumpkin-shaped and featured gold accents and trim. If you’ve seen the 1950 Disney animated classic, you know that Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother transforms a pumpkin into a carriage for Cinderella to take to the Royal Ball.
The seat inside is a vibrant magenta color, and appears to be velvet.
The seat up front is white with gold accents and decor. You can also see the detail in the large golden wheels.
A golden “C” for Cinderella is shown in. the back window of the Carriage. You can also see a closer look at the detail in the carriage.
The carriage will likely stay throughout the weekend and there are PhotoPass photographers standing by to capture your moment in front of the royal carriage.
While you are welcome to take pictures outside of the carriage, guests are not allowed to touch or sit inside of the carriage.
Are you heading to Magic Kingdom this weekend? Are you going to take a picture with Cinderella’s Carriage? Let us know in the comments below.

Are you excited to meet Princess Ariel at one of the Disney Parks? Let us know in the comments.
Live Action “The Little Mermaid”
Oscar-nominated Rob Marshall, known for his work with “Chicago” and Disney’s “Mary Poppins Returns,” directs “The Little Mermaid.” The remake stars Halle Bailey as mermaid princess Ariel, Jonah Hauer-King as Prince Eric, Daveed Diggs as Sebastian the crab, Awkwafina as diving bird Scuttle, Jacob Tremblay as Flounder, Javier Bardem as King Triton, and Melissa McCarthy as Ursula. Noma Dumezweni will portray the new character Queen Selina, Eric’s mother.
“The Little Mermaid” will be released in theaters on May 26, 2023. Bailey and Jodi Benson, who voiced the animated Ariel, united at the film’s premiere.
This wasn’t the first time that Bailey and Benson had interacted. According to the LA Times, Benson makes an on-land cameo in the film and was on set for the filming of “The Little Mermaid.” Benson was a source of on-set support for Bailey. “She told me how proud she was of me and how I’m handling everything, and encouraged me to just go for it,” Bailey said regarding Benson. “I appreciate her for being so warm and welcoming to me because she’s the GOAT, and it was important to me to get her stamp of approval.”

A new “Jurassic Park” 30th anniversary Freestyle mug with a handle is available at Universal Orlando Resort. The Freestyle mugs can be used to get refills at Coca-Cola machines throughout Universal Orlando Resort, but they don’t usually have lids for easy carrying.
The cup is mostly yellow and orange, the color scheme of “Jurassic Park,” the film’s iconic T. rex skeleton logo on one side. A “30th anniversary” banner is across the logo.
A Coca-Cola bottle is depicted under the Jurassic Park entrance archway.
And of course, there’s a T. rex pictured.
We picked up this mug in Today Café at Universal Studios Florida.
In addition, a new complimentary “Jurassic Park” Universal Orlando Resort Annual Passholder magnet is currently available as part of a month of UOAP benefits.
There are of course so many ways to experience the world of Jurassic Park at Universal Orlando Resort and at other Universal Parks worldwide! Here at Universal Orlando, there’s an entire land dedicated to the franchise at Universal’s Islands of Adventure.
The three main attractions are Jurassic Park River Adventure, which sails you through the park to encounter various dinosaurs, Pteranodon Flyers, a kids-only journey above the skies of kiddie area Camp Jurassic, and the newest addition to the park — Jurassic World VelociCoaster! This exciting coaster takes you on a journey through the velociraptor paddock at Jurassic World and is the first ride at Universal Orlando to be based on the latest trilogy of “Jurassic” films, featuring appearances by Chris Pratt as Owen Grady and Bryce Dallas Howard as Claire Dearing.
Across the country at Universal Studios Hollywood, the Jurassic Park attraction got a heavy retheme at that park to become Jurassic World: The Ride. Featuring a combination of screen effects and audio-animatronics, the ride is still largely the same, taking guests on a tour through Jurassic World. But now at the ride’s exciting climax, you come face-to-face with the impressive Indominus Rex animatronic!
At Universal Studios Japan, a mirrored clone of Jurassic Park: The Ride opened with the park in 2001, and a flying coaster called The Flying Dinosaur lets guests experience the thrill of soaring above the skies with a pteranodon. It’s often described as one of the most intense coasters at any Universal park!
Universal Studios Singapore features a unique take on the Jurassic Park River Adventure attraction, with a circular raft system similar to Kali River Rapids at Disney’s Animal Kingdom rather than boats. There’s also a short Pteranodon Flyers-like attraction called Canopy Flyers which all ages can ride.
Finally, at Universal Studios Beijing, two completely original attractions were created for the park based on the newer trilogy. Jurassic World Adventure is an indoor dark ride that takes guests on a journey through Isla Nubar complete with an animatronic dinosaur chasing riders! And Jurassic Flyers takes guests on a soaring journey above the island, in a much more thrill ride sense than in Orlando or Singapore.
