During the Jurassic Park Tribute Store preview, we noticed a little Halloween Horror Nights 2023 Easter egg.
When we stopped into the Jurassic Park Tribute Store at Universal Studios Florida, we noticed a little Halloween Horror Nights Easter egg hidden in the decor.
Upon taking a closer look, we noticed a small piece of paper underneath a magazine that has the corner folded over to reveal a set of numbers.
The numbers read “090123”, which is 09-01-23 — September 1, 2023 — the opening date of Halloween Horror Nights 2023.
In the past, previous Tribute Stores at Universal have added teaser flyers at the exit.
A couple months ago, Universal released the dates along with a teaser video for Halloween Horror Nights 32.
The video flashes through a number of symbols before stating, “The Legend is Real.” In their Tweet, Universal confirmed that there will be 10 haunted houses, 5 scare zones, and an unspecified amount of live entertainment.
Halloween Horror Nights 32 will take place at Universal Studios Florida this year from September 1 through October 31. Tickets are now on sale, and “See You in the Fog” merch was released at the park.

And for those of you in the club, you might be interested to know that there is a new set coming from Loungefly dedicated to A Goofy Movie road trip. A new ‘The Little Mermaid’ milk shake — inspired by its live-action movie — has arrived at Hollywood Scoops at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. And with an odd flavor profile that may be polarizing.
Vanilla, Mango, Guava, and Ginger Milk Shake topped with Whipped Cream and a Pineapple-Guava Seashell Cake
We stopped by Hollywood Scoops on Sunset Boulevard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios today and noticed there was a new milk shake to celebrate the release of the live-action ‘The Little Mermaid’ movie. Naturally, we decided to try it so we can give you our thoughts.
The milk shake itself, is visually very aesthetically pleasing. It features tones of blue and purple to mimic the ocean. We thought that there was an almost overwhelming amount of whipped cream. Once we were handed the milk shake, the whipped cream immediately started falling off the side of the cup.
The blue and purple sprinkle sugar around the rim was a nice touch.
Upon taking our first sip, we noticed that the most prominent flavor is ginger. If you are not a fan of ginger, don’t get this because it has a very strong ginger taste. After a few more sips, we started to taste the mango. Although guava is listed as an ingredient, we were unable to detect it.
This mostly tasted like a ginger and vanilla milkshake, which we found to be an odd pairing.
The seashell cake topper was wrapped in a light purple fondant. Unfortunately, because of the amount of whipped cream on top, it quickly submerged into the milk shake.
The cake itself was very moist. Visually, it looks like it would have been a red velvet cake, but is was not. We found the cake to be awful. It was described as pineapple and guava, but we didn’t taste either of those flavors. It was very bland and flavorless. We honestly thought it tasted like a plain vanilla cupcake.
Overall, we would not recommend this milkshake, unless you are buying it only for its visual appeal.

One of the best things to come out of Animal Kingdom’s 25th Birthday is this new Moana meet-and-greet that was introduced. Moana has been a fan-favorite character since her movie came out in 2016, so it’s incredible that she now has an area to interact with guests. She did meet briefly at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney Presents after the movie was released, but this has been a long time coming.
Moana can be found on Discovery Island in Character Landing, right before DinoLand U.S.A.‘s entrance, where Pocahontas used to meet. Her meet-and-greet times vary, so be sure to check out the My Disney Experience app for any updates. Let’s take a photo tour of the area, shall we?
Being able to meet Moana was such a fantastic experience. I won’t get into all the emotional details, but this really warmed my heart. I loved the location’s atmosphere and that they play the movie’s soundtrack on a loop. Having more meet-and-greets like this scattered around that park would be amazing.
