Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser opened in March 2022 at Walt Disney World. The experience starts at nearly $5000 per cabin and offers a three-day, two-night immersive “Star Wars” adventure on a fictitious cruise ship where guests become part of a conflict between the Resistance and the First Order. It includes an excursion to Batuu, themed meals, and live entertainment, including a climactic battle for the galaxy.

The Halcyon (as it’s called in-universe) has 100 guest rooms, including 94 Standard Cabins that sleep up to 5, four Galaxy Class Suites that sleep up to 4, and two Grand Captain Suites that sleep up to 8.

PHOTOS: More Minions Revealed as Construction Walls Come Down Around Minion Land Sign at Universal Studios Florida

Construction walls have come down from around the newly installed Minion Land sign at Universal Studios Florida, revealing more Minion figures.

Minion Land Sign

The Minion Land sign is in front of what was previously a Betty Boop store, all but confirming the store will become Minion-themed, and across from Despicable Me Minion Mayhem.

The sign is on a tall support so “Minion Land” is visible from all around the Universal Studios Florida entrance area.

Now that the construction walls are down, we can see Minions in the planter at the bottom of the sign. Several Minions are climbing out of a metal hole in the ground. The Minion figures are mostly the classic yellow Minions wearing blue overalls, but there is also one purple “Evil” Minion.

The Evil Minion is trying to bite the support pole for the sign.

A few Minions are dodging the metal door that has swung open, while another is sliding down the door.

The design is such that it looks like the Minion Land sign is on a mechanical arm coming out of the ground.

Illumination’s Minion Land

New details have been announced for Illumination's Minion Land in Universal Orlando Resort.

Illumination’s Minion Land at Universal Orlando Resort will be opening this summer with a variety of new attractions and eateries for guests.

The land will take over Production Central, transforming it into Illumination Avenue with a new Minion Café (replacing the former Universal Studios’ Classic Monsters Cafe) and “other surprises inspired by popular characters from Illumination’s blockbuster franchises.”

The back of the Transformers: The Ride show building has been painted teal blue to match the new land. As seen in the above concept art, “Illumination” will be added to the wall.

The attractions will be the pre-existing Despicable Me Minion Mayhem and brand new Villain-Con Minion Blast. The façade of Despicable Me Minion Mayhem was recently refurbished.

Read more details about Villain-Con Minion Blast, which will be a moving walkway and shooting ride where Shrek 4-D once was. It won’t have a height requirement and guests will be able to track their score in the Universal Orlando Resort app.

The gift shop for Villain-Con Minion Blast will be Evil Stuff, judging by a sign installed in March. It is directly across from Despicable Me Minion Mayhem’s Super Silly Stuff shop.

In addition to Minion Café, food and beverage locations will include Freeze Ray Pops, Bake My Day, and Pop-A-Nana. At Pop-A-Nana, guests will be able to get banana-flavored popcorn and Minion-inspired popcorn buckets.

Bake My Day — which has a giant pink cupcake on its roof — will serve cupcakes, macarons, and s’mores. This venue will also feature a selection of Minion-inspired merchandise, including apparel, plush, drinkware, accessories, keychains, and more. Freeze Ray Pops will have a variety of colorful popsicles inspired by Gru, the Minions, and Vector.

Preview the Minion Café menu, including Despica-bowls, Bob’s Teddy Bear Chocolate Cream Puff, and more. Check out the Minion Café façade so far.

Universal Studios Hollywood also has a Minion Café. Read our review of some of Hollywood’s Minion Café dishes.
