Asia at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park is one of the most beautiful places at Walt Disney World. There are so many fun and unique photo spots within this section of the park, so I decided to pick my three favorite locations that never fail me. If you didn’t read my previous article regarding photo spots at the China Pavilion, let me break down how I take these pictures. I travel alone to the parks, so I can only take photos using the self-timer function on my phone while I have it propped up on my water bottle.

The first two spots are near Yak & Yeti Restaurant and close to the area’s entrance. As you walk over the bridge into Asia, you’ll find this beautiful rock formation that has a large tree behind it that is decorated with strands of fabric. If you don’t want to set up your phone for this one, I did see a PhotoPass photographer show up at the spot later in the day.

A few steps away from the rock formation is this beautiful structure. Every time I walk by this, I imagine a wedding that could take place here. Obviously a small and intimate wedding, but it would be gorgeous. I see so many guests walk past this without stopping as if it doesn’t exist, which means it’s a perfect photo spot because it won’t be crowded.

The way I set up my water bottle and phone here was tricky, but I found that putting them between the two lines of the squares toward the front of the pavilion.

This next spot is on the Maharajah Jungle Trek near the tiger exhibit. If you need some way of finding landmarks, across from here on the right-hand side of the trail is an education booth where guests can learn about tigers and get some help finding them. There are so many photo spots on this trek that are incredibly unique, but for me, this is one that I always gravitate towards.

Those are my three favorite spots in this park section, and I think they make for unique and fun pictures. The one spot with a PhotoPass photographer is the first location that looks like ruins.
