So much exciting NEW stuff is coming to Disney World.
Disney Springs
EPCOT is getting ANOTHER new attraction. Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is getting new DVC villas. A new bakery/cafe is coming to Disney’s BoardWalk. Over at Disney Springs, a new restaurant is under construction, so we popped on over there to see how things are coming along!
Summer House on the Lake is expected to open sometime in late 2023, so construction on the new restaurant is moving right along.

As you might be able to tell, the restaurant will be pretty tall, which is starting to show as he building takes shape.
Multiple levels
Disney stated that the new restaurant’s menu will be inspired by California flavors and menu items will have “simple, sustainable ingredients.” The menu will include things like pizzas, salads, pasta, sandwiches, and more.

Currently, there’s scaffolding around most of the roof line, so it seems that’s where construction is focused on right now.
