Red, white, and blue 4th of July popcorn is now available in Kernel Kitchen at the Main Street Confectionery in Magic Kingdom.
4th of July Popcorn
You’ll notice the American flag-inspired popcorn in one of the tubs at Kernel Kitchen, which is located in the back corner of the confectionery where the Chapeau used to be.
Here, guests can customize a bag of popcorn with different flavor and candy combinations.
The popcorn looks similar to the special kettle corn just announced for “Rogers: The Musical” at Disney California Adventure.
The Main Street Confectionery also has 4th of July candy apples, rice crisp treats, and cake pops available.
All of these items will be available presumably through 4th of July weekend at the Magic Kingdom. Let us know if you’ll try these treats in the comments below!
4th of July at the Magic Kingdom
According to the official Walt Disney World Resort website calendar, the annual tradition of a special fireworks presentation specifically celebrating the Fourth of July will be returning to Magic Kingdom this coming July 3 and 4 at Walt Disney World.
A 9:20 p.m. showtime for “Disney’s Celebrate America! — A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” is now scheduled for two nights, making the event official.
Last year, Celebrate America! had its comeback after a three-year hiatus due to COVID-19 pandemic closures and complications. Full video of the show can be viewed below.
The 2022 version had a new narrator and minor script changes in the first half. The second half was different than previous versions. You can compare it to our video from 2019 here. This updated show will likely be what is presented this year, though we will keep you updated.
In the new narration, the narrator starts the show by describing the United States as “America, the land of many people, a country that continues to grow.” The songs “Oh Susanna” and “Red River Valley” are no longer part of the show.
