Disney’s BoardWalk Pizza Window Is Temporarily CLOSED – Here’s Where You Can Still Get a Slice!

Just when you get comfortable navigating the parks, Disney switches things up on you. Just when you finally thought you understood the rules of Genie+, we find an exception. Let’s be real; things change in Disney World all the time.

Disney’s BoardWalk

Right now, there’s a TON of construction going on both in the parks and around various resorts, which can cause a lot of things to change. While we were walking around Disney’s BoardWalk Inn recently, we noticed that a popular pizza spot temporarily MOVED.

The BoardWalk Pizza Window is a popular spot for many guests to grab a slice of pizza while they walk around the boardwalk. However, this particular location has temporarily closed due to nearby construction.

Instead, there’s an arrow at the window that directs you to Disney’s temporary location, which is in between Trattoria al Forno and AbracadaBar.

Head this way!

You’ll order what you’d like outside at this kiosk. Don’t worry; there’s still a menu for you to reference as you place your order.

When it comes time to pick up your food, you can head inside the check-in area of Trattoria al Forno to find a temporary stand. The pizza is kept warm in boxes behind the table and then served to guests straight from the box and onto paper plates. It may not be the prettiest way to do things, but it’s a temporary solution!

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen this happen, so it’s not our first rodeo. Things like this can happen from time to time in Disney World, so stay tuned to DFB to keep yourself in the know!

These new Disney permits could lead to ride changes and a restaurant remodel — read all about it here!
