If You Want Blue Teeth and Love Stitch, These 3 Disney World Treats Are For YOU

Honestly, June 26th should go down as a nationally-observed bank holiday for Disney fans.

Stitch is practically a celebrity!

Yep, 6/26 is known as Stitch Day, and Disney World is in on the celebration. We’ve seen special merchandise online, some pranks performed by Stitch on the Disney Twitter account, and throughout the parks, you can grab some specialty treats for a very limited time. Let’s talk about it!

We got to try three different treats today in honor of Stitch himself. They’re all, of course, themed to our favorite blue alien. Try them with us!

First up, we tried the Stitch Dome Cake from Capt. Cook’s at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort for $7.99. This treat is a confetti cake with mint-chocolate chip filling and fondant decor.

Stitch Dome Cake

Our first thought when grabbing this one was how cute it was! We loved how this one looked. But, will it taste just as good? When we first took a bite, we noticed how moist the confetti was. There isn’t a ton of flavor — it’s not too sweet. The cake part is nothing special, it just tastes like the average confetti cupcake you’d get from Publix. The mint filling in the center was a bit too much, though. It absolutely tasted like toothpaste.

If you love confetti cake, Stitch, and don’t mind the strong mint flavor, you should totally try this. If you don’t like mint, maybe pass on this one.

Up next, we went to Pineapple Lanai at the Polynesian to try the Experiment 626 Ice Cream for $5.79. This is a cotton candy soft serve ice cream cone topped with white chocolate Stitch ears. We’ve seen a version of this one before, so we were excited to try this one.

Experiment 626 Ice Cream

We enjoyed how fun this dessert looked! The taste was pretty great too — not overpowering at all. It was more like a vanilla ice cream with a subtle cotton candy flavor added to it. The waffle cone was fresh and added a nice crunch to the end of the dessert. As far as the white chocolate ears go, they were pretty straight forward — no complaints there. The only complaint we had was how quickly it melted!

Experiment 626 is MESSY

If you love cotton candy and Stitch, this dessert is for you. However, if you’re looking for something that’s easy to eat and isn’t messy (and if you don’t like cotton candy), maybe opt for something else.

Last but not least, we headed into Magic Kingdom to try the Stitch Blueberry Lemonade Mousse Cake from Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe for $8.29. This snack consists of blueberry ice cream mousse, lemonade-blueberry caramel, vanilla cake, and blue pineapple glaze.

Blueberry Lemonade Mousse Cake

This is yet another fun-looking treat! A LOT of flavors are working together for this one, but they’re working together WELL. The main flavor is, of course, the blueberry lemonade flavor. It’s slightly tart, but it works well with the sweetness of the vanilla cake. The pineapple also adds a subtle but nice flavor. Our one complaint here is that there isn’t a whole lot of cake to go around. This one definitely ain’t for sharin’. For the price, this is pretty annoying. However, if you love Stitch, blueberry, and lemonade, it might just be worth it.

We’ll continue to keep you updated with any and all Disney news and updates, so make sure to follow along for more! (Yes, that includes reviewing all the treats there are to try at Disney World!)
