Important Airline CHANGES Are Coming to the Orlando Airport

Traveling can be very stressful.

Orlando International Airport

You’ve been there, we’ve been there. You’re hoping you packed everything, pleading with the universe you have enough time to make it through security, and are crossing your fingers you won’t hit any delays or cancelations. If you’re flying out of Orlando soon, there’s a new change you need to be aware of that may take many guests by surprise.

The Orlando International Airport has just announced that starting on June 7th, Spirit Airlines, Alaska Airlines, and Breeze Airways are being relocated inside the airport.

This means that you won’t find these airlines flying out of their previously known gates, AND the ticket counters and check-in areas will also be moved. Here’s a break down of the changes:

Spirit Airlines

  • Ticket Counter and Check-In will now be located at Terminal A, Level 3
  • Baggage Claim will now be located at Terminal A, Level 2, Carousels 2-5
  • Gate Assignments will have NO changes

So why all these changes? Well, we don’t know anything for sure, but the airport has been making way for more airlines to fly in and out, and they have to make room somewhere!
