Last month, you may have seen that Governor Ron DeSantis filed a motion to remove Judge Mark Walker from the Disney vs. DeSantis lawsuit. As previously reported, Disney responded to DeSantis’s motion arguing that the points made in the motion from the Governor’s office did not meet the criteria for disqualification. Thursday evening, Judge Walker filed a document disqualifying himself from presiding over the case stating “a relative within the third degree” is a Disney stockholder.
In the documentation filed, it’s stated that the case has been “reassigned to Judge Allen C. Winsor for all further proceedings.” You can read the full document below.
