Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride at Disneyland will close for a second refurbishment next month. The ride just reopened after a brief closure to reportedly work on half the building.
Fantasyland Refurbishments
Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride will be closed again to complete the refurbishment beginning on July 24, 2023. A reopening date is not yet available.
Mr. Toad’s neighbor, Alice in Wonderland, will be closed — also for a second time in a few weeks — beginning on July 5 as part of the same refurbishment project. It will reopen on July 21.
Peter Pan’s Flight is also currently closed. All three attractions have been part of Disneyland since the 1950s, and are housed in the same show building. Peter Pan’s Flight will reopen on June 30.
Other Disneyland Resort Construction Projects
Soarin’ Around the World and the Disneyland Monorail will also be closing for refurbishment on July 5. While Soarin’ Around the World will reopen on July 15, a reopening date has not been announced for the Monorail.
The Little Mermaid – Ariel’s Undersea Adventure was also just closed for a short refurbishment. Meanwhile, Splash Mountain permanently closed on May 31. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is expected to open in late 2024. The Adventureland Treehouse remains under construction and is projected to open this year.
