While we may not quite be in our Yankee Doodle dandy spirit yet, the confectioners at the Main Street Confectionery are already feeling patriotic, with the new 4th of July treats already on display and available to guests!
4th of July Treats Arrive at the Magic Kingdom
The treats are already stacked up at the entrance of the Main Street Confectionery, located of course on Main Street, U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom.
The customary candy apples and rice crisp treats on a stick with M&Ms (since the space is sponsored by Mars) are available for purchase.
The M&Ms 4th of July cereal treat is $6.49, just like the ones for Disney100 and the standard version.
The candied apple with M&Ms meanwhile is $12.99.
Finally, a small cake pop for the celebration is available for $5.49, also coated with M&Ms.
All of these items will be available presumably through 4th of July weekend at the Magic Kingdom. Let us know if you’ll try these treats in the comments below!
4th of July at the Magic Kingdom
According to the official Walt Disney World Resort website calendar, the annual tradition of a special fireworks presentation specifically celebrating the Fourth of July will be returning to Magic Kingdom this coming July 3 and 4 at Walt Disney World.
A 9:20 p.m. showtime for “Disney’s Celebrate America! — A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” is now scheduled for two nights, making the event official.
Last year, Celebrate America! had its comeback after a three-year hiatus due to COVID-19 pandemic closures and complications. Full video of the show can be viewed below.
The 2022 version had a new narrator and minor script changes in the first half. The second half was different than previous versions. You can compare it to our video from 2019 here. This updated show will likely be what is presented this year, though we will keep you updated.
In the new narration, the narrator starts the show by describing the United States as “America, the land of many people, a country that continues to grow.” The songs “Oh Susanna” and “Red River Valley” are no longer part of the show.
