Joining those at EPCOT and the Magic Kingdom, the Pride Month mural has gone up today at Disney’s Animal Kingdom just in time for the annual celebration of LGBTQ+ culture and Juneteenth.

The wall is located in the same spot as last year, on the walkway to Pandora — The World of Avatar across from Tiffins Restaurant.
The theme for the murals this year is “Love,” which is written in park-appropriate fonts at each of the three installed so far. The one at EPCOT used that park’s special font, while the Magic Kingdom uses a more futuristic font, being located in Tomorrowland. Here at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, we see a stylized font often used to depict more exotic locations. A Mickey Mouse silhouette sits at the center of the “O.”
The stripes featured are black, brown, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet, pink, white, and light blue. Together they represent the original Pride flag as well as additional stripes to highlight the people of color in the LGBTQ+ community, as well as transgender and non-binary pride.
You can also find Pride Month photo ops available at EPCOT and the Magic Kingdom. Will you take your photo here to celebrate? Let us know in the comments below!
