The Pinocchio figure on the exterior of Pinocchio Village Haus in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom has been updated.
Pinocchio Figure
The Pinocchio figure can be seen above these side doors.
It looks like he’s been completely repainted. But more obviously, his mug and food item have been changed.
He used to hold a blue mug and a red apple.
Now Pinocchio holds a yellow mug and a slice of chocolate frosted cake.
Pinocchio Village Haus doesn’t serve cake — but then again, it didn’t serve apples either. Maybe Disney decided the apple recalled Snow White too much.
For comparison, you can just barely see the Pinocchio figure in our photo of Chicken Souvlaki Flatbread below.

Pinocchio Village Haus
At Pinocchio Village Haus, “Real boys and girls can feast on Italian favorites at this quaint cottage inspired by the classic Disney film ‘Pinocchio.’” The quick-service restaurant is open from 10:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. most days. It serves various flatbreads, as well as salads and chicken strips. Sides include breadsticks with marinara sauce and tomato basil soup. Though originally introduced as a 50th anniversary offering, malasada has stuck around as a dessert, along with nonfat Greek yogurt. The Pride Mickey Key Lime Tart is also currently available at Pinocchio Village Haus.
