“Sing” and Minion meet and greets have debuted at Illumination Theater in Minion Land at Universal Studios Florida.
Most of Minion Land is now in a soft opening phase at Universal Studios Florida. While the land is not officially “open,” some of the offerings are available to guests during the technical rehearsal period. Illumination Theater will serve as the meet-and-greet location in the land, offering the chance to see characters from other Illumination films such as “Sing.”
Illumination Theater
Illumination Theater faces Villain-Con Minion Blast (which is not yet open), next to the Transformers: The Ride 3D show building.
“Illumination” is atop the theater’s marquee.
A queue is set up on the sidewalk and road to the side of the theater.
Screen posters show some of the characters you might get to meet at Illumination Theater.
The golden theater doors are decorated with the silhouettes of various Illumination characters.
The meet-and-greets take place outside the theater doors, not inside.
“Sing” Meet and Greet
The first characters to meet with guests this morning were Johnny and Gunter.
The gorilla and pig were excited to meet and dance with guests.
Another “Sing” character will come out on other days.
