Here at DFB, we are all about the Disney snacks.
Lately, there have been a lot of new food additions in Disney World. A new movie has been making a splash at the box office, Pride Month has arrived full of color, and a new Passholder Lounge debuted in EPCOT. That means Disney World is brimming with new snacks to celebrate all of these occasions, so we had our hands full trying all of the new eats. Lucky for you, we’ve gathered them all and ranked them from worst to best, so you know which ones are worth a try. Let’s dive in!
10. The Little Mermaid Milk Shake
Disney is celebrating the release of its live-action The Little Mermaid with treats all around the parks! Unfortunately, out of all the new snacks we’ve tried lately, The Little Mermaid Milk Shake in Disney’s Hollywood Studios came in last place. This shake, which we found at Hollywood Scoops for $9.49, is a Vanilla, Mango, Guava, and Ginger Milk Shake topped with Whipped Cream and a Pineapple-Guava Seashell Cake. Sound like a bit much?
Well, it was. Although this drink was pretty, we did not love the flavors. The ginger was just overpowering and it felt a bit like we were drinking toothpaste. If you are a fan of ginger, you might actually like this one, but it didn’t do it for us.

9. Part of Your World
Another treat celebrating the release of this new film, the Part of Your World cone for $6.29 is DOLE Whip Strawberry swirled with Purple Cheesecake soft serve that we got at Storybook Treats in Magic Kingdom. We thought this cone was fine, but the insane mess that it created took away from our enjoyment of it.
While it was pretty at first, the Florida heat started melting this treat in seconds, and it ended up getting all over us and leaving our fingers stained blue.
On top of that, the flavors just really weren’t all that prominent. The strawberry was there, but the cheesecake soft serve was too mild to really distinguish. So, we really didn’t think this cone was worth the mess.

8. Pride Float
Over at Pineapple Lanai in Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, there’s a new Pride Float for $6.49 for the month of June. It’s a Vanilla Soft-serve Float with Fanta Pineapple, topped with Sprinkles and White Chocolate Decor.
Okay, does this dessert really deserve to be near the bottom of the list? Vanilla soft-serve and Pineapple Fanta? Sounds great, right? Well, it did taste good, but it was just a little boring.
If you love pineapple flavors and ice cream desserts, you might want to give this a try. But, it might not make sense to go out of your way to grab one of these if you’re not staying at the Poly!

7. A Spark of Grape Shake
Ok, this one is a little controversial. Annual Passholders can find the A Spark of Grape Shake at the new exclusive lounge in EPCOT for $8.99. It’s made with flavors of Grape, Guava, Passionfruit, Orange, and Lime.
This Figment-themed shake might not be for everyone, but our reporter really loved it! She thought it reminded her of a grape Jolly Rancher, and it tasted like a Kool-Aid packet was whipped into the cream on top. (It sure sounds like Figment had something to do with that!)
This shake is also adorable, so if you’re a Passholder and a big fan of grape flavors, you should definitely check this one out.

6. Divinely Diabolical Milk Shake
Okay, we have another The Little Mermaid milkshake for you. Fortunately, the Divinely Diabolical Milk Shake for $7.99 was a bit more enjoyable than the first one. This treat from The Friar’s Nook consists of a cookies and cream milkshake with a chocolate drizzle and purple whip cream, topped with white chocolate crisp pearls, and a chocolate seashell.
This one was middle-of-the-road for us. If you’re a fan of cookies and cream, you should give this one a shot! But otherwise, there wasn’t anything really unique about it. And it was really hard to drink through the paper straw we were served.

5. Sweet Summertime Favorites
For the Summer season, Disney World released an amazingly creative new snack at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort–the Sweet Summertime Favorites for $6.79.
No, this is not, in fact, a hot dog and fries. It’s made entirely of dessert! The “hot dog” is an eclair with a chocolate filling and icing on top, while the “fries” are sugar cookies. On the side, the “ketchup” is a raspberry jam you can dip your treats into. You can find this work of art at the End Zone Food Court.
Unfortunately, not all of the components of this snack blew us away. The eclair was a little tough and chewy–the bun reminded us a bit of shortbread, which made biting into a challenge with all of that chocolate filling. We did think the chocolate was delicious and creamy, and the cookie fries were AMAZING. The raspberry jam “ketchup” was just ok. So, all and all, this was a bit of a mixed bag, but we gave it major points for creativity!

4. Pride Coconut Key Lime Pop
Another Pride Month treat can be found at Gasparilla Island Grill in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The Pride Coconut Key Lime Pop for $6.29 is made with Coconut-Key Lime Patty enrobed in Chocolate with White Chocolate Décor.
This snack is PERFECT for summer. The coconut flavor is strong and the key lime adds a nice tartness to balance it out.
And, the chocolate actually held together really well, even in the Florida heat! If you’re a fan of coconut and key lime, this is a really fun treat that is worth checking out.

3. Pride Italian Cookies
Okay, things are getting good now. The next stop is Le Petit Cafe in Disney’s Riviera Resort. For the month of June, this location is serving up Pride Italian Cookies for $6.29, which are Frangipane, Raspberry Jam, and a Dark Chocolate Shell.
These were light and fluffy, had a distinct almond flavor, and were a nice mildly sweet treat. We would get them again, and if you are a fan of almond flavors, we think these are worth a stop.

2. Cuban Burger
Another Value Resort is bringing its A-game this month with a new Cuban Burger! At Everything POP Shopping and Dining in Disney’s Pop Century Resort, you can find this winner for $13.49. It’s made with Ham, Pickled Pepper Relish, Provolone, and Dijonnaise on a Toasted Brioche Bun and served with French Fries.
Guys, this was good. The mustard and pickles were delicious and the ham added a deep, savory flavor that the beef patty couldn’t provide on its own. The cheese was melty, the fries were piping hot and fresh, and it was a generous portion!
Pop Century might be a little out of the way if you aren’t staying there, but if you’ve got a hankering for a tasty burger, you might want to catch a ride on the Skyliner to give this one a shot.

1. Summer Berry Shortcake
Drumroll, please! The number one new snack that we tried this past month was the Summer Berry Shortcake at Gasparilla Island Grill in Disney’s Gand Floridian Resort & Spa! This new treat is a moist vanilla sponge cake, with blueberry compote, strawberries, and Chantilly cream on top, priced at $5.99.
We were SO IMPRESSED by this treat. The berries were fresh and just sweet enough, the cake was light and fluffy, and the cream on top was lightly sweetened and so smooth.
This is a perfect, light summer snack and definitely a MUST-TRY if you love strawberry shortcakes. Even better, it’s just a short monorail ride away from the Magic Kindom, so don’t miss out on this dream of a dessert.
