We headed over to Pineapple Lanai at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to try the new Pride Float. Let’s see how it fared.
Pride Float – $6.49
Vanilla Soft-serve Float with Fanta Pineapple topped with Sprinkles and White Chocolate Décor
The colors are designed to mimic the Transgender Pride flag, with light pink and blue colors.
We found this to be very aesthetically pleasing as well as very refreshing. Even though it has food coloring added, it tastes like regular vanilla ice cream. The sprinkles and pineapple Fanta give it a little bit of flavor and a sweeter taste.
The pineapple flavor is not overpowering. If you like pineapple Fanta and vanilla soft-serve, this is an easy choice.
The Pride Mickey white chocolate décor tastes the same other decorative toppers used throughout the resort on cupcakes, shakes and other treats. It is a white chocolate medallion with a bit of a waxy texture.
We would get this float again. It is perfect for a hot and humid day in the Sunshine State.
