Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is a moderate resort with so much to offer. Recently I took a little day trip to check it out. Unfortunately, I couldn’t look at any rooms, so I can’t speak on that, but I can speak on everything else. I know the hotel has been going through some renovations over the past few years, and it’s been worth it. The newly updated lobby is beautiful, and it made me feel like I was at a deluxe resort. I hope the rooms match the lobby’s energy because that would make this resort perfect.
During my short journey, I created a list of three reasons why Disney fans should stay here. Let’s dive into that, shall we?
The Food
This resort has several dining locations, but the ones that stand out to me are quick service, Centertown Market, and the table service, Sebastian’s Bistro. I have had outstanding meals at both.
At Centertown Market, guests can find a variety of island flavors in the dishes here. My favorite item to order here is the fried yucca bowl. The bowl serves fried yucca topped with black beans, pico de Gallo, and cotija. Diners can add shrimp, chicken, or pulled pork to this bowl. I always add shrimp to mine. If Latin-inspired bowls aren’t your thing, don’t worry. They have plenty of specialty burgers, sandwiches, and tacos.

Sebastian’s Bistro is an all-you-care-to-enjoy type of restaurant, but it’s on the more affordable side of things. It’s $35 per adult and $19 per child. The food here is packed with flavor, and the interior is gorgeous. Some of the standout dishes are the slow-cooked mojo pork, sustainable baked fish, vegetable curry, and the pull-apart buttery house-baked rolls. The best part for me is that they have an absolutely amazing plant-based platter. It’s the best plant-based family-style plate at Disney World; that’s my opinion.
The Pool and Play Areas
The pool is themed to look like a Spanish fort, and the kid’s splash pad area looks like a shipwreck. The swimming area is relatively large, and the deck has plenty of seating. Not too far from the pool, there’s a walking path with a playground, a lawn area with seating, and beautiful views of Disney’s Rivera Resort.
This allows for a lot of space for kids and families to play at the resort. They also have some great hammocks in the area that makes for a great nap spot.
The Skyliner
This resort is on the Disney Skyliner route, making traveling to nearby parks easier. This allows guests staying at the hotel to go to the other resorts in the area. At Caribbean Beach Resort, they have the central hub of the Skyliner that has a line that goes to Hollywood Studios, one to EPCOT, and another to Art of Animation & POP Century. There’s also a Joffrey’s Coffee and Tea stand next to the station where guests can grab a caffeinated beverage before taking flight over Walt Disney World.
After exploring this resort, all I want to do is book a staycation here and get the full experience. I feel like this would be such a fun place to stay, especially during the summer months. Have you ever stayed at this resort? If you have, tell us about your experience.
