Universal Studios Florida and CityWalk Hosting 4th of July Celebrations

Universal Studios Florida and Universal CityWalk will host 4th of July celebrations during the holiday next Tuesday.

Starting at 5:00 p.m., live music, a DJ, and themed performers will be both in the park and in CityWalk. Last year, we saw a trio of singers performing in CityWalk.

Guests will also have the opportunity to meet various characters. Last year, we met “Despicable Me” characters, Puss in Boots, Squidward, King Julien, and Scooby Doo.

The celebration will likely be held at the Music Plaza Stage, across from the new Minion Land offerings, where Illumination characters now have regular meet and greets.

“Themed performers” include stiltwalkers dressed in patriotic attire.

At 9:00 p.m., there will be a short pyrotechnics display in Universal Studios Florida to wrap up the evening of festivities.
