Whether we like it or not, 2024 isn’t that far away, and it’s time to start planning next year’s Disney vacations. There are a lot of positive things happening at Walt Disney World in 2024 that will make visiting worth it. I’ve been looking at all the news that came out regarding what next year will be like in the parks, and I thought it would be great to look at the four things that stood out to me. Hopefully, these little tidbits will help you plan your next Disney vacation!
1. Park Passes will be removed!
Since the reopening of the parks after the pandemic, it’s been required to have a reservation for a specific date in order to visit, which made the process of planning and going to the parks more complex and confusing.
Starting January 9, 2024, these reservations will no longer be required for select guests that have date-based tickets. The process of traveling to Disney next year will be much more relaxed and stress-free.
2. The Return of the Dining plan
These plans to prepay your meals at Disney were suspended a few years ago, but they will return in 2024 with two options: the Quick Service Dining Plan and the Disney Dining Plan.
These can only be added to a vacation package that includes a stay at one of the official Disney resorts and theme park tickets.
3. EPCOT’s Refurb will Finally be Finished.
This park has gone through an extensive refurb over the past few years. A new interactive experience called Journey of Water, inspired by Moana is expected to open by the end of this year. Hopefully, the rest of the construction walls should be down before 2024!
4. Payment Installments
If you want to travel to Disney World in 2024, you can book your package now and pay interest-free installments, freezing current prices that will surely go up in the future.
Best of all, if Disney announces an offer later on, your Dreams Unlimited Travel agent will be able to apply those discounts after your reservation is confirmed to lower the price without you having to do anything at all. If you want to receive a quote for your Disney vacation for next year, we recommend that you do so with Dreams Unlimited Travel!
