Welcome to EPCOT — the land of construction walls, exciting new rides and restaurants, and…did we mention construction walls?
It’s no secret that EPCOT has been undergoing a huge transformation and there has been a lot of exciting news out of the park lately. The 100th anniversary celebrations are coming to the park in September, a new fireworks show is on the way, the 2023 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival is about to begin, and a new restaurant is coming to the Japan pavilion! With all of this good news, we also have some bad news to share about EPCOT.
Despite wait times staying pretty low last week, EPCOT’s wait times are now on the rise. This was expected when the Food & Wine Festival began, but the wait times are already increasing BEFORE the festival kicks off!
In other parks, the wait times basically stayed the same as last week. While wait times are high, at least they are steady and not bouncing all over the place. You still may want to purchase Genie+ in parks like Magic Kingdom or Hollywood Studios to help with these consistently high wait times.
Without further ado, let’s check out the average wait times at every Disney World ride from the past week!
Magic Kingdom
Starting in Magic Kingdom, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train had the longest average wait time of 83 minutes. Last week the average wait time was 85 minutes, so the time has decreased a little bit this week.
Next, Peter Pan’s Flight averaged 70 minutes, Space Mountain averaged 62 minutes, and Jungle Cruise averaged 47 minutes. After that, average wait times had Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at 43 minutes, Haunted Mansion at 42 minutes, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at 39 minutes, Pirates of the Caribbean and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh at 32 minutes, Astro Orbiter at 30 minutes, and Enchanted Tales with Belle averaged 28 minutes.
After that, “it’s a small world” averaged 24 minutes, Tomorrowland Speedway averaged 19 minutes, The Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini averaged 20 minutes, Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid and Dumbo the Flying Elephant averaged 15 minutes, and Magic Carpets of Aladdin and Mickey’s PhilharMagic averaged 14 minutes.
Next, Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover averaged 11 minutes, Mad Tea Party averaged 10 minutes, and Prince Charming Regal Carrousel averaged 8 minutes. The Enchanted Tiki Room, Carousel of Progress, the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse, and the Liberty Square Riverboat all averaged 5 minutes.
The Hall of Presidents, Country Bear Jamboree, and Tom Sawyer Island averaged no wait. Reminder: TRON Lightcycle / Run does not have a posted wait time as it only uses a Virtual Queue or Individual Lightning Lane.

EPCOT
Heading over to EPCOT, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure had an average wait time of 57 minutes — this is an increase from last week’s 52-minute average. Frozen Ever After’s wait time also increased to 59 minutes meaning this is the highest average wait time in the park.
Next up is Test Track at 60 minutes, Soarin’ at 28 minutes, Mission: SPACE at 20 minutes, Turtle Talk with Crush at 15 minutes, and Spaceship Earth at 14 minutes.
Then, there is Journey into Imagination at 12 minutes, The Seas with Nemo and Friends at 9 minutes, and Gran Fiesta Tour and Living with the Land at 7 minutes.
Awesome Planet, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, Impressions de France, and Reflections of China had no wait times this week. Reminder: Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind does not have a posted wait time as it only uses a Virtual Queue or Individual Lightning Lane.

Animal Kingdom
