“Canada Far & Wide in Circle-Vision 360” is set to remain open during the 2023 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, casting doubt on the future of Appleseed Orchard.
Appleseed Orchard Venue Uncertain for 2023
Beginning in 2019, the indoor theater that houses “Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360” was transformed during the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival into an indoor “booth” called “Appleseed Orchard.” The fare has been apple-forward with items like an Apple Crumble Tart, Frozen Apple Pie, and many hard cider options.
This year, the Walt Disney World website shows no downtime for “Canada Far and Wide” and the theater is expected to operate normally.
This location was often a welcome reprieve from the Florida heat for festival-goers, and now the location of Appleseed Orchard is in doubt. We are curious if it will get relocated to a new spot.
Was Appleseed Orchard one of your favorite Food & Wine Festival stops? Let us know in the comments.
‘Canada Far & Wide in Circle-Vision 360’
The current “Canada Far & Wide in Circle-Vision 360” is an update to the previous “O Canada!” film with new scenes, a new musical score by Canadian composer Andrew Lockington, and new narration by award-winning “Schitt’s Creek” actors Catherine O’Hara and Eugene Levy.
The entrance marquee features the main show title in bold, red letters, plus some signage for Le Cellier Steakhouse.
The theater’s exterior is covered in faux moss to alleviate upkeep on the facade.
Directional signage leads guests down toward the cavernous entrance.
A digital wait times board was installed in 2020.
Inside, one of everyone’s favorite features is this carpet that resembles wood flooring.
The classic track “Canada (You’re a Lifetime Journey)” song performed by Canadian Idol winner Eva Avila does make a comeback, but with the original vocal track stripped of any auto-tune and set to new music.
