With the announcement that San Fransokyo Square will officially open on August 31 at Disney California Adventure, we have more details about the land and a first look at merchandise.
Scott Gustin shared a look at some Baymax merchandise that will be available at the San Fransokyo’s Maker’s Market.
A red youth shirt shows Baymax covered in tape and bandages, a ball cap features the healthcare companion with the cat Mochi, and a white shirt has Baymax outlined across the front and back.
The San Fransokyo Maker’s Market will be a storefront stocked with unique apparel, homewares, and more featuring Baymax and friends. As seen in the concept art above, the market’s shelves are situated on robot storage cases, with decommissioned battle bots on display. Hiro’s Megabot will be in the rafters above.
Across from the Maker’s Market, vending machines will have golden medallions featuring Baymax and other San Fransokyo images.
Guests will be able to meet Hiro and Baymax outside Hamada Bot Shop when San Fransokyo Square opens.
The new land is a reimagining of Pacific Wharf. Pacific Wharf’s primary entrance bridge is currently closed for installation of the torii gate towers, turning it into the San Fransokyo Gate Bridge.
Lucky Fortune Cookery will have new “Big Hero 6”-themed food items starting on July 19. Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill and Rita’s Turbine Blenders will have new items starting on July 26.
