With the Halloween season at Walt Disney World fast approaching (Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party begins August 11), more merchandise has arrived. We found the latest selection at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, with most items available at Discovery Trading Company.
Happy Halloween Reusable Bag – $5.99
Get spooky at the grocery store with a new Halloween reusable bag. It’s bright orange with matching handles and reads “Happy Halloween.”
Mickey & Friends are pictured on the wide sides of the bag. Mickey and Minnie are in their vampire-inspired outfits, while Donald is a devil, Daisy is a witch, and Goofy is a jester.
Crisped Rice Cereal Treats – $14.99
The crisped rice cereal treats don’t change much from year to year. They’re still Mickey-shaped, dipped in either purple or green icing, and covered in festive sprinkles. The tag this year reads, “Up for a scare?”
Apple Cider Drink Mix – $15.99
This is another item where the change is only to the packaging. The three flavors of apple cider drink mix return: red, spiced, and caramel.
This year’s set is packaged in blue and black with Mickey & Friends in costume.
Happy Halloween Glow Necklaces – $20
We found the necklace at the Dino-Rama cart. It has Mickey Jack-‘o-lanterns, purple candies, and candy corn lights.
Last year, the necklace featured ghosts instead of candy corn. The switch reads “Happy Halloween” and has a button to cycle between the different lighting modes or power it off.
The Mickey Jack-o’-lanterns are more translucent this year as well.

This limited-capacity, nighttime event starts at 7 p.m. and allows guests to experience shorter wait times for attractions, themed food and beverages, special character meet-and-greets, and more. Tickets went on sale in May and are still available.
Ticketed guests can enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 p.m. ET and must present valid Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets to receive an event wristband. At 7:00 p.m., regular park guests are escorted out of the park, and only guests with wristbands are allowed to remain inside.
Guests may dress up as their favorite Disney characters to join in the season’s festivities. Specialty food and drinks will also be announced closer to the festival’s start.
Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade
It’s good to be bad, and your favorite Disney villains are back to stride down Main Street, U.S.A., alongside Disney heroes, the iconic Haunted Mansion graveyard diggers, and other favorite characters.
Minnie, Daisy, and Clarabelle will appear in Mickey’s “Boo-To-You” Parade dressed as the Sanderson Sisters from “Hocus Pocus.”
Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade is approximately 23 minutes long and is performed twice nightly, weather permitting. Performances are usually at 9:15 p.m. and 11:15 p.m., but check the guide map or the My Disney Experience App for the most up-to-date schedule.
Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular
The Sanderson Sisters, stars of the iconic “Hocus Pocus” films, will unite for an adventure and call on their comrades to summon the ultimate “Hocus Pocus” Party Potion during the “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular” stage show at Cinderella Castle.
