More Than 50% of Disney Fans Say You Should NOT Go to Disney World During This Week

The holidays at Disney World. How do you really feel about them?

It’s so BEAUTIFUL

We’re thinking about entertainment, the treats, and the crowds. Not all of those make you excited. So, we wanted to find out what your thoughts were about a specific holiday week at Disney World. We asked and boy did you deliver!

We reached out to our followers on Facebook to ask “Have you been to Disney World during Christmas week? Would you recommend it?” and the results were pretty varied.

We had quite a few people leave their opinions in the comments, so let’s see what they had to say!

Let’s talk about those crowds and wait times…

Around 35% of the responders expressed concerns about the overwhelming crowds and long wait times during Christmas week at Disney World. Picture this: swarms of people everywhere you turn, lines snaking around every corner, and wait times that can make you question the concept of time itself. That’s what you can expect during Christmas week at Disney World.

Christmas crowds at Magic Kingdom

The crowds are beyond belief, with visitors reporting overwhelming numbers and packed-to-the-brim restaurants and attractions. One visitor even shared an example of waiting in line for what felt like an eternity just to use the restroom. Talk about patience being put to the test!

Did I sign up for an obstacle course???

Approximately 20% of the feedback mentioned that navigating through the parks during Christmas week can feel like a real-life obstacle course. With such massive crowds, getting from one attraction to another becomes a strategic mission. It’s like wading through a sea of humanity, trying to find your way.

But that’s not all, my friend. Some visitors also mentioned encountering instances of rudeness. From pushy individuals jostling in line to inconsiderate behavior, there were reports of people not embodying the holiday spirit. It’s disheartening to witness such behavior, especially when you’re there to celebrate and enjoy the magic.

Maybe you should reschedule…

Now, here’s some valuable advice coming your way. Roughly 15% of the responders suggested considering alternative times to visit Disney World for a more enjoyable experience. Early December, the week before Christmas, or the week after Christmas were mentioned as prime periods to soak up the festive atmosphere while avoiding the overwhelming crowds.
