Walt Disney World is getting ready for fall with a new autumn leaves ear headband, which we found at Plaza del Sol Caribe Bazaar (the Pirates of the Caribbean gift shop) at Magic Kingdom.
Autumn Leaves Ear Headband – $34.99
The ears and headband are a light golden tan color. The Minnie bow is covered in shiny gold sequins.
Across the ears are orange, yellow, and green fall leaves.
The ears are also lined with a golden braided rope.
The leaves pattern continues on the back of the ears.
This autumn leaves ear headband is also available at Disneyland.
If you’re looking for more nature-inspired ear headbands, check out these Fort Wilderness Resort ears. If pink is more your style, Walt Disney World also has a rose pink Minnie ear headband and a Disney Princess ear headband.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party
A mainstay of fall at Walt Disney World is Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, an after-hours, hard-ticket event at Magic Kingdom. The event takes place on the following dates:
- August: 11, 15, 18, 22, 25, 29
- September: 1, 4, 8, 10, 12, 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, 26, 28, 29
- October: 1, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29, 31
- November: 1
It is sold out on Halloween night.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party entertainment includes Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade. Performed twice nightly, weather permitting, the parade features Disney Villains, Haunted Mansion characters, Mickey & Friends, and more. This year, Minnie, Daisy, and Clarabelle will appear in the parade as the Sanderson Sisters of “Hocus Pocus.”
The Headless Horseman usually rides ahead of the parade. Last year, Max Goof performed as Powerline in a parade pre-show.
The actual Sanderson Sisters host the “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular,” summoning various Disney Villains for a stage show in front of Cinderella Castle.
Jack Skellington of “The Nightmare Before Christmas” hosts Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular, a nighttime spectacular including fireworks and castle projections.
The event also includes special food and beverage items.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one of the only times adult guests can wear costumes to the parks, but there are strict guidelines:
