We are LOVING all the new Princess and the Frog representation coming to Disneyland.

We love seeing Tiana in the Magic Happens parade. We can’t WAIT to ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure when it opens. However, we may be MOST excited about Tiana’s Palace Restaurant because, well…food! We’ve been following along with the construction of the restaurant, and something NEW and exciting turned up recently!

We previously shared a first look at the restaurant, which was coming right along with loads of new exterior details. Here’s a look at the progress back in June.

Now, we’re back one month later, and construction is still coming along.  Just look at it! It’s already taken on Tiana’s personality.

We walked by Tiana’s Palace earlier today to see if anything else had changed, and…wait…there was a nice little surprise waiting for us. Do you see it?

Here’s a closer look. Tiana’s Palace officially has a sign now! Yes, it says “Tiana’s Palace” in a pretty script font fit for the princess it’s named after.

That means the restaurant is just one step closer to opening, right? Disney has not yet released an opening date for the restaurant, but the opening timeline is marked before the end of 2023. The new dining spot will offer up authentic New Orleans dishes inspired by Tiana and her friends, including dishes housed in the same building as the old French Market.

The Mint Julep Bar, which specializes in Mint Juleps and Mickey beignets, located next door to the restaurant, is currently closed but will reopen when Tiana’s Palace opens. You can get beignets at several other locations in the meantime.

We’ll continue to keep an eye on construction at Tiana’s Palace Restaurant and keep you updated. So stay tuned to DFB for more!
