NEW RESTAURANT Announced for Disney Springs

Disney Springs is full of some of the best restaurants in Disney World.

Whether you’re looking for a fancy meal or just some good old-fashioned DOLE Whip, you’ll be able to find something to enjoy. And, there’s even more on the way! At Summer House on the Lake, guests will be able to dine on the water later this year. Now, Disney has just announced that another new restaurant is coming!

Maneet Chauhan, an acclaimed James Beard Award-winning chef and Food Network Star, and Vivek Deora, an international hospitality entrepreneur are partnering to bring a new restaurant to Disney Springs. Disney shared the news on Instagram today.

EET by Maneet Chauhan will serve up Indian cuisine once it opens later this year! Disney hasn’t released an official opening date or menu for this fun Indian-inspired concept as of yet, but they did share the logo for the new restaurant.

The celebrity chef does currently have a restaurant in Nashville — Chauhan Ale & Masala House — that can give us an idea of her style. According to the restaurant’s website, Chauhan’s “zest for travel and affection for Southern cuisine” has influenced her menu choices, which feature “globally influenced Indian cuisine” as well as touches from the local scene.

If you’re also looking forward to the new Summer House on the Lake, we got a bit of a sneak peek at some of the new things we can expect — pizzas, sandwiches, salads, pasta, wood-grilled dishes, and more.

It will also have outdoor patios overlooking the water, as well as a “dessert-focused market” tucked inside of the restaurant — The Cookie Jar, which will serve freshly baked cookies and house-made pastries! We’ve seen the construction moving along at this location and will let you know as we know more.
