We have an exciting update from Disney Cruise Line.

Big things are happening for Disney Cruise Line. Recently, we learned that the new technology, DisneyBand+ was added to another Disney Cruise ship. We are also anticipating Disney’s new private island opening soon, Lighthouse Point. Now, we just got a closer look at Disney’s newest ship.

Disney has given us a construction update on the newest Disney Cruise Line ship, the Treasure. The Disney Treasure, which is set for delivery in 2024, will be the sixth ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet. While the Disney Wish is known as Disney’s “Castle on the Seas,” the Disney Treasure will celebrate “Walt Disney’s lifelong love of adventure,” as announced in September 2022 by Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Chairman Josh D’Amaro.

Let’s take a look at the progress that is being made on the new ship. On June 26, Disney Parks Blog shared an update on construction…”With today’s installment of the bridge block, the Disney Treasure now has everything it needs to sail through waterways around the world. The bridge block contains important navigational equipment for the ship, including the wheel!”

According to Disney, the future captain and their crew will be able to control the ship’s direction and speed from this bridge. This exciting update means we are one step closer to the day when the Disney Treasure will transport guests to beautiful destinations and explore the globe.

On May 26th, they shared the progress of the Walt Disney Theater. This theater will hold Broadway-style productions for guests on board the ship.
