After the recent refurbishment of the mini Monorails on the archways at the Transportation & Ticket Center, the mini Magic Kingdom Ferryboat sign is now covered.
The Ferryboat to the Magic Kingdom is still available for guests, and the majority of the sign is uncovered.
The little Ferryboat on top is obscured. Rather than the draped black cover used for the Monorail signs, the Ferryboat cover has been cut to match the shape of the boat.
The signs at the Transportation & Ticket Center received a makeover for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World in 2021, including a new color scheme.
The mini Monorails were redone to match their real counterparts, complete with “undercarriage” lights. Presumably, the Ferryboat sign is receiving a cosmetic refurbishment as well.
For comparison, the photo below shows the sign uncovered.
