Celebration is in full swing for the Fourth of July 2023 at Walt Disney World, with fireworks displays and DJ dance parties kicking things off tonight at Magic Kingdom. The festivities will continue tomorrow evening as well.
In addition to the fireworks display, DJ booths have been set up throughout the park to keep the energy up and the party going.
Fourth of July 2023 DJ Booth at the Castle Stage
The DJ booth at the Castle Stage is easily the most popular spot of all the DJ stages.
The Emcees keep the energy up with music and crowd banter as everyone waits for the main event.
This is usually the most crowded area, as everyone is camping out for the fireworks.
As you can see here, tape has already been laid down to separate viewing areas from guest walkways in order to keep paths clear.
Fourth of July 2023 DJ Booth in Frontierland
Another DJ booth can be found in Frontierland.
The booth is located in the upper walkway between Frontier Mercantile and Country Bear Jamboree.
In our opinion, this DJ was the best out of the three.
Fourth of July 2023 DJ Booth in Tomorrowland
There is also a DJ booth in Tomorrowland.
This one is located at the Rockettower Plaza Stage, and has signage up inviting guests to join in on the dance party.
This DJ stage had a decent crowd ahead of the night’s fireworks display.
Hub Grass Fireworks Viewing Areas
Both sides of the Castle Hub grass area have been blocked off ahead of tonight’s fireworks display.
The area closed off to regular-day guests starting at 4 p.m. today.
The side of the Hub Grass in front of Casey’s Corner is usually reserved for Club 33 members only.
Touchpoints have been set up at the entrances to the Hub Grass for guests to tap in if they are allowed entry.
“Disney’s Celebrate America! – A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky”
The special Fourth of July fireworks show returned tonight for 2023. Last year’s performance marked a comeback for the event after a three-year-long hiatus due to COVID-19.
The 2022 version had a new narrator and minor script changes in the first half. The second half was different than previous versions.
The fireworks were also 360 degrees this year, just as they were in 2022 and in past years.
