Southwest Airlines Adds NEW Nonstop Routes to Orlando Airport

Choosing to fly to Disney World can be overwhelming, given all the options and connecting flights. It wasn’t too long ago that we announced a few new nonstop flight options arriving at MCO, plus a few new airlines looking to call Orlando International Airport home. Now, Southwest Airlines announced even MORE nonstop flights are on their way to connect you to Orlando faster!

Southwest Airlines is making it even easier to fly to Orlando. Orlando International Airport announced on Twitter that new nonstop routes are coming starting today, July 15th, 2023.

The new routes will help connect 3 new destinations — Albuquerque, New Mexico, Boston, Massachusetts, and Long Beach, California through nonstop flights to Orlando’s main airport. This announcement may give visitors a new option when booking a flight to Orlando.

Oh, and in case you missed it, Mears Connect and the Sunshine Flyer recently announced that they entered into an agreement to merge their services into ONE combined service that will transport guests from the Orlando International Airport to Disney World’s hotels. This is BIG news for those looking for airport transportation to Disney World.
