A new restaurant is coming to Disney World — well, it depends on how you define “restaurant,” but if you ask us, corn dogs are a fully balanced meal so this definitely counts.

Of course, we’re talking about none other than Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs, a Disneyland favorite that will be arriving at Disney World’s BoardWalk Inn later this year. You might recognize this spot for its infamous pickle corn dog — which is exactly what it sounds like. So, is the pickle dog coming to Disney World? Here’s what we know!

The Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs Instagram account recently shared a BIG update: Disney’s BoardWalk Resort is getting a corn dog stand of its own. This spot currently serves Hand-dipped Corn Dogs and other unique Corn Dog creations over in Disneyland at the Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs kiosk in Downtown Disney.

Disney hasn’t released the official menu for the BoardWalk location, but we can take a look at the Disneyland location’s menu to get an idea. In the past, we’ve tried a Mexican Street Corn Dog — a spicy hot link dipped in batter and fried, then topped with garlic mayo, corn, cotija cheese, and cilantro, and garnished with a lime wedge.

…a Christmas Corn Dog — a turkey hot dog hand-dipped in batter, rolled in panko breadcrumbs, and served with a side of cranberry sauce for dipping…

…and even a Golden Dragon Corn Dog from this snack-on-a-stick spot. The Golden Dragon is a panko-encrusted, kosher, all-beef corn dog. This one comes with Sriracha Aioli and Sweet Thai Chili dipping sauces.

But, perhaps the most incredible feat in corn dog technology — and some might even say an abomination — to come to Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs is the PICKLE CORN DOG. Yes, that’s correct. Pickle. Corn. Dog. It’s a hot dog inside a pickle, dipped in batter, covered in panko bread crumbs, and fried. Oh, and it’s served with peanut butter dipping sauce. 

Obviously, this corn dog has stirred up some feelings among Disney fans. Some people LOVE this flavor combination, while others want to run and hide from this dog. While we don’t know for sure, we’re hopeful the pickle dog will come to the new Disney World location so we can try it on the east coast as well.
