Puffy pizza, sub-par chicken nuggets, and theme park hot dogs are just a few of the (many) BORING food options available at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. And hey, there’s nothing wrong with enjoying a chicken nugget or two (we’ve done it, too!), but we’re here to tell you that you can do better. If you’re tired of the same old bland, uninteresting snacks in Disney World, we’re here to free you from that bad theme park food.
While some Disney parks have DOZENS of phenomenal food options, like Satu’li Canteen and Flame Tree Barbecue at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, other parks, well, fall short. But fear not! We’ve tried it ALL — the good, the bad, and the weird, and we’re here to help you find the BEST food at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
In this post, we’re limiting our list to the top seven foods at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Of course, there are plenty more dining options than what we’re covering, but we focused on only the BEST snacks in this list.
Now let’s talk FOOD!
1. Ronto Wrap
Ronto Roasters may not have a very large menu, but that’s okay! We find ourselves ordering the same thing practically every time we visit this snack spot in Galaxy’s Edge. The Ronto Wrap may look (and sound) a little strange compared to the more average theme park foods in Disney World, but it’s well worth a try!
The Ronto Wrap is one of our FAVORITE things to eat in Hollywood Studios, and even the breakfast version (known as the Ronto Morning Wrap) was a win for us. Disney’s Ronto Wrap is made with roasted pork, grilled pork sausage, peppercorn sauce, and tangy slaw wrapped in pita bread. Oh, and BONUS: it’s pretty healthy!

2. Cobb Salad & Grapefruit Cake
We feel obligated to mention both the famous Cobb Salad AND the Grapefruit Cake served at Hollywood Brown Derby. This restaurant is definitely on the more expensive side, but we’ve consistently enjoyed quality meals at this famous spot.
If you’re unfamiliar, that famous Cobb Salad has a backstory: It was originally created as a custom late-night snack for Sid Grauman (of Grauman’s Chinese Theater fame). Chef Robert Cobb finely chopped and tossed together several ingredients to create Grauman’s beloved Cobb Salad, and it eventually caught on and became a crowd-favorite!
The Brown Derby Cobb Salad consists of finely chopped greens, turkey breast, bacon, egg, tomatoes, crumbled blue cheese, avocado, chives, and Cobb dressing. We’re getting hungry just thinking about it!
While you’re there, you might as well order the Grapefruit Cake, too! It’s another POPULAR pick among fans.
If you’re looking for a sit-down dining option in Hollywood Studios, we highly recommend the Hollywood Brown Derby. It’s simply a classic!

3. Carrot Cake Cookie
It goes by many names, has seen several transformations, and even moved locations, but the Carrot Cake Cookie (also known as the Carrot Cake Whoopie Pie) is still a DFB favorite!
Currently, you can find it at the Trolley Car Café (it’s the Starbucks location in Hollywood Studios). This Whoopie Pie/Cookie creation is made with sweet carrot cake and a thick frosting filling. The icing-to-cake ratio may change from time to time, but we keep coming back for more either way — that MUST mean it’s a winner!

4. Totchos
Looking to dine in Toy Story Land? Skip the restaurant and go to Woody’s Lunch Box instead.
That may sound surprising, but we simply ADORE the Totchos, and it’s hard to compete with tater tots, beef and bean chili, shredded cheese, queso, tomatoes, corn chips, green onions, and sour cream. Basically, imagine nachos but with potato barrels. Yeah, it’s amazing.

5. Bavarian Pretzel
BaseLine Tap House is another fan-favorite spot in Hollywood Studios, and for good reason! Both the charcuterie board AND the Bavarian Pretzel served here are great, filling options.
The Bavarian Pretzel is served with spicy mustard and a beer cheese fondue, and WOW, is that cheese fondue heavenly. We crave it on a semi-daily basis. If you’re more of a charcuterie person, the Charcuterie Board has plenty of savory cheeses and meats that are perfect for mixing and matching with every bite.

6. PB & J Milkshake
Over at the 50’s Prime Time Cafe, you can order a unique milkshake that may bring you back to your childhood.
Sure, we love the Fried Chicken and the classic veggies served at this restaurant, but it’s the Peanut Butter and Jelly Milkshake that we crave most often. As you can imagine, this milkshake has both the creamy flavor of peanut butter AND the sweet flavor of jelly, all mixed up into one refreshing milkshake. YUM.

7. Jack-Jack Cookie Num Num
Finally, we’ll leave you with a simple but effective treat. The Jack-Jack Cookie Num Num is a rich, huge chocolate chip cookie that is served fresh and warm each day. Sometimes, you don’t need to mess with the classics, right?
You can find it at the Neighborhood Bakery in Pixar Place.
