- Details have been revealed for the 2023 Destination D23 Gold Member exclusive shopping spree in September at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
- Walt Disney World introduced Disney Pin vending machines for the first time at the 2023 Magic HAP-Pins trading event at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.
- Also at this event, we were able to have a first look at several new pin sets and designs, including 2024 dated offerings for Walt Disney World and Disneyland.
- Next up, we saw 2023 Haunted Mansion Holiday and “it’s a small world” Holiday pins for the first time.
- Marvel was included, too, with a new Disney100 Marvel Comics “What If…?” pin set commemorating classic comic book covers.
- To prepare for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom, and the various Festivals of the Holidays at EPCOT & Disney California Adventure, special pins specific to those events also made their debut.
- Keeping with the holiday festivities, various other pins for the season were unveiled, including offerings for the Disney Parks, Disney Vacation Club, Disney Cruise Line, and more.
- Finally, the 2024 “Disney After Dark” pin trading event was announced, with a new poster revealed for the occasion.

Disneyland Resort
- The new Star Wars Bantha Burgers Loungefly purse and visor have arrived in Disneyland, emulating the style of McDonald’s Happy Meals.
- The Walt Disney World 2024 attraction poster calendar featuring the art of live entertainment also debuted at Disneyland Resort — yes, all of the images are in fact from experiences found in Florida.

- After initially reneging on an earlier release date, the brand-new Disney Lorcana trading card game will now be sold at Walt Disney World and Disneyland this Monday, August 28.
- Speaking of Lorcana, limited stock for its early release has led to difficult decisions for local game shops, high resales, and mass market embargo violations with markups and big box stores selling the product before their approved September 1 date.
