Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana is opening soon, but a special group will get to see it FIRST.

Just as was the case with the TRON Lightcycle / Run attraction in Magic Kingdom, Cast Members will be among the first to experience this new Moana-themed attraction. But just when will Cast Members need to sign up? We’ve got some details!

Disney has announced that Cast Members will be able to check out the new Moana attraction through special previews. Registration for the previews will open up on August 22nd on The HUB (a webpage specifically for Cast Members). You’ll find it under “HUB Events.”

More details are set to be released about the previews soon so if you’re a Cast Member, you’ll want to watch for that.

When TRON Lightcycle / Run opened in Magic Kingdom, Disney held previews for various types of guests including D23 Members, Annual Passholders, and Disney Vacation Club Members, in addition to Cast Members. Thus far, previews for guests beyond Cast Members have NOT been announced for Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana but we’ll keep an eye out for any potential updates and let you know what we find.

For those not familiar with it, Journey of Water will be a walk-through experience that allows guests to learn about and play with “living” water. Click here to learn more! The attraction is set to open in the fall of 2023 in EPCOT, but an exact opening date is still pending.
