At the closing bell on Wall Street Thursday, The Walt Disney Company (DIS) recorded a drop of 3.91% for the day, closing at $82.47 per share, the lowest since 2014. On October 16, 2014, the stock market closed with Disney shares at $81.74 per share.
During the company’s earnings call earlier this month, CEO Bob Iger acknowledged the “challenging environment” they are facing. Disney’s shares have dropped 5% since then.
According to a report on Reuters, investors predict a further drop over the next few months.
