Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be closing early on October 17, 2023 for a private event.
The park will close for day guests at 5:00 p.m. The closure appears to be for the Gartner IT Symposium, which has bought out Walt Disney World parks for private events before. The Gartner IT Symposium takes place from October 16 through 19 in Orlando, Florida with access to Disney’s Hollywood Studios from 6:45 to 10:00 p.m. on October 17.
Nighttime entertainment like “Fantasmic!” will not be performed for day guests.
October 17 is also a Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party event night, meaning Magic Kingdom will also close at 6:00 p.m. for regular guests.
Although finalized hours are not yet available for October 17 at EPCOT and Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the parks should be open until 9:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. respectively.
Park hours have been extended at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom for later in August.
