The Madrigal family from “Encanto” will soon be featured on some Disney Skyliner gondolas and “Coco” characters will adorn Walt Disney World buses.
Most Disney Skyliner gondolas are decorated with decals of various Disney characters that can be seen from the outside but are see-through from the inside.
Walt Disney World has been ramping up their “Encanto” offerings, with a Mirabel meet and greet opening in September and Bruno joining the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade. Both characters have previously had meet and greets at Disneyland Resort, and Mirabel appears in the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade at Magic Kingdom.
Many Walt Disney World buses also have wraps featuring various Disney characters, like Mickey & Friends and Figment. An “Encanto” bus wrap debuted last year.
“Coco” doesn’t have much presence at Walt Disney World, but a “Coco” scene was added to Mickey’s PhilharMagic in 2021 and a “Coco” land may open at Magic Kingdom in the future. The land could also include “Encanto” and Disney Villains, but was in the blue sky development phase when revealed at D23 Expo last year, so may also never come to fruition.
