The Frozone meet and greet has moved slightly at the recently reopened Pixar Place in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Frozone, Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, and Sully all appear in Pixar Place, while guests can visit Edna Mode at The Edna Mode Experience.
Frozone Meet and Greet
In early 2023, Frozone from “The Incredibles” was greeting guests near the front of Disney’s Hollywood Studios. When Pixar Place reopened, he was meeting in front of a plain brick wall. He’s now in front of a painted mural near the front of Pixar Place, not far from the Neighborhood Bakery food cart.
Frozone’s backdrop is dark blue with overlapping circles of light blue, red, and yellow.
A Disney PhotoPass photographer is on hand with these characters, but you can also take pictures with your own phone or camera.
Pixar Place History and Closure
Before Toy Story Land was added to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Pixar Place was an area of the park where guests could enter the queue for Toy Story Midway Mania and also find meet-and-greet photo ops with Buzz and Woody. Then when construction on Toy Story Land was finally complete, both the entrance to Toy Story Midway Mania and photo ops with Toy Story characters were moved over into that land.
After the Toy Story characters left, the Pixar Place location was turned into a Municiberg city block from the Pixar film “The Incredibles”. Here you could find a meet-and-greet with Edna Mode, purchase Jack-Jack’s Num Num Cookies, and even occasionally get a glimpse of popular characters from the film like Mr. and Mrs. Incredible or Frozone.
After the park closed in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, the area became devoid of characters and attractions. Even after nearly three years had passed since the rest of the park reopened, Pixar Place remained a dead-end area. It finally reopened with some updates in May 2023.
