It’s a wonderful time of year at the moment. Even though the Summer sun is still shining, the crisper days of Fall are not too far away, followed by two of the best festive seasons to spend in the Disney Parks, Halloween and the Holidays! As Disney was preparing guests for what they could enjoy during the cooler months ahead, I saw this statement appear on Instagram with an unexpected reaction.
Who doesn’t love a cozy-season selfie? Be sure to grab your favorite autumn attire and a pumpkin spice latte and get ready to strike a pose. From Aug. 10 to Nov. 1, Main Street, U.S.A., at Magic Kingdom will be filled with pumpkins and scarecrows, and shops will be dressed with fall foliage and garlands, making it the perfect fall photo backdrop.
Other than pure adoration for Mickey and Minnie’s choice of attire, there was one comment that I kept seeing pop up. It’s too early! It made me think about the seasonal changes and if the Fall decorations that are due to arrive on August 10th are rolling in well ahead of their prime. With Mickey & Minnie’s Not-So-Scary-Halloween Party kicking off on August 11th, it’s clear to see why the decorations must be in place ahead of schedule, though I can’t help but wonder if, eventually, we will see them creeping in during July to accommodate higher demand.
Let me know what you think. Is it too early for Fall decor during the mid-months of Summer?
