If there’s one thing we’ll remind you to do over and over and over again in Disney World…it’s HYDRATE.

During your vacation you’re probably walking a LOT of steps (we’re talking 20K+) and chances are, it’s hot and humid on top of that. It’s important to drink lots of water throughout the day so that you can take care of your body. One great tip is that Disney World’s quick service restaurants hand out free cups of water to guests if you ask — but now, that process has gotten EASIER.

We started to notice some new additions in Magic Kingdom recently, and we’re excited to share! Around the park near several quick service spots, we spotted these self-serve water dispensers.

During our visits, we spotted them at Casey’s Corner, near Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies, and outside at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe. We noticed Cast Members refilling them with cold water multiple times throughout the day, and the tables are kept stocked with complimentary cups.

Most of the time when we walked past them, there wasn’t even a line to get water! The one exception to this was the water station by Auntie Gravity’s — likely because it’s more out in the open and draws attention.

These can be a great time-saver for those people who were waiting in line at restaurants just to get water in the parks. And each time we stopped to hydrate at these dispensers, the water was ice cold and very refreshing!

We hope that this is a permanent change for Magic Kingdom, but it’s possible that Disney just put these out because of the higher-than-usual heat levels in the Central Florida area this week. We’ll keep checking back to see and keep you updated if we spot any more of them!
