A new sparkly Figment tumbler is available at Walt Disney World. We found it in Figment’s home, the Imagination! Pavilion at EPCOT.
Figment Tumbler – $24.99
The tumbler is a sparkling purple. Figment is pictured against a round white background with Spaceship Earth. “Let your imagination lead the way” is next to the purple dragon. Most of the words are yellow, but “imagination” stands out with orange lettering.
The same design is also pictured on the other side.
It has a transparent lid. The tumbler is BPA-free plastic.
It is not microwavable and should be hand washed only.
Journey Into Imagination with Figment
Figment debuted alongside the Dreamfinder in 1983 with the opening of Journey Into Imagination at EPCOT. The popular original version of the ride closed in 1998 and became the short-lived, disliked Journey Into YOUR Imagination, featuring very little Figment. The ride closed again in 2001 and reopened as Journey Into Imagination with Figment, which remains today.
Despite the attraction’s rough history, Figment’s popularity has endured. Figment was once available as a meet-and-greet character. A new Figment meet and greet is scheduled to come to EPCOT before summer ends. No other details have been announced, but Disney did say that guests would be able to hug Figment, so it’s likely that he will appear as a costume character, not an animatronic or puppet.
