Walt Disney World has announced that a beloved member of the Familia Madrigal will begin meeting guests at Magic Kingdom on September 15, 2023! Mirabel, from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Encanto will be located in her magical Casita where Merida from Brave used to be. This character greeting will extend beyond Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month and will be available year-round. We can’t wait to see it!

Speaking of the Familia Madrigal, Mirabel’s uncle, Bruno, will join the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade, also at Magic Kingdom starting Sept. 15. The Cavalcade includes popular friends like Miguel from Coco, Princess Elena of Avalor, José Carioca, and many more as they make their way throughout the park.
