Whether you eat a plant-based diet all the time or you are just looking for some inventive new eats to try on your next Disneyland trip, here are five new tasty-sounding dishes heading to the menus at some of our favorite Disneyland restaurants.
Soy Chorizo Country Breakfast Burrito
Kick-start your day the right way – with the tasty Soy Chorizo Country Breakfast Burrito. Starting Sept. 1, Galactic Grill at Disneyland park will be serving up this plant-based bite featuring soy chorizo, spiced potatoes, grilled peppers, onions, egg, cheddar, pico de gallo, and chipotle sauce perfectly combined in a spinach flour tortilla.
Also, in Tomorrowland at Disneyland park, Alien Pizza Planet has its own dish you’ll be clawing for starting Sept. 1. The Sesame-Ginger Vegetable Noodles brings together noodles with stir-fried vegetables, tosses them with a can’t-miss sesame-ginger sauce, and finishes it off with some cilantro & scallions.
You’re in for a royal surprise once you taste the Curry Royale: Queen of Hearts Delight starting Sept. 1. If you have reserved a spot at Tomorrowland Skyline Terrace in Disneyland Park during the Halloween season, this plant-based item will be available and is fit for royalty. It has spiced fried cauliflower, basmati and green pea rice, spinach with chickpeas, and Romanesco served with curry sauce. See more of the bites and sips heading to Disneyland Resort for the Halloween season this year in the Foodie Guide.
Sopes de Chorizo con Papas
As you venture over to Disney California Adventure park, stop by the Hollywood Lounge on Aug. 29 where they’ve got the Sopes de Chorizo con Papas. This star-studded bite features refried beans, lettuce and pico de gallo with nopales, cilantro crema, and pickled red onion.
Get in the spirit with the Plaza de la Familia festivities at Paradise Garden Grill beginning Sept. 1. Here, you’ll find the delicious Plant-based Chorizo Quesadilla. If you love a flavorful quesadilla, give this one a try. It combines poblano, onions and mozzarella, is topped with cilantro crema, and served with salsa roja and escabeche. To see the rest of the Plaza de la Familia delights, check out the Foodie Guide.
These are just a few plant-based bites you can get at Disneyland Resort this fall, but there are many more, such as the Mushroom, Vegetable, and Farro Stew, which is also available in a bread bowl, at Harbour Galley and Poola Blossom Slush at Kat Saka’s Kettle, both available starting Aug. 29, the Pumpkin Crème Brûlée at Wine Country Trattoria starting Sept. 1, and the Sunchoke and Pistachio Pesto Pasta at Blue Bayou Restaurant beginning Sept.12.

The art of Br’er Fox, Br’er Bear, and Br’er Rabbit in The Briar Patch gift shop over by Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, formerly Splash Mountain, has all been replaced by art depicting generic forest creatures.
Br’er Rabbit & Company Replaced in The Briar Patch
Where a portrait of Br’er Rabbit once hung over the fireplace, a new art piece featuring an owl is now there.
This is what the Br’er Rabbit art looked like while it was on display.
Elsewhere in the shop, the art of Br’er Bear and Br’er Fox have also been replaced.
The Br’er Bear art that once hung over a doorway has been replaced with generic art of a bear on a log.
Here is the art depicting Br’er Bear that used to be on display.
The location of the former Br’er Fox art is now home to art of a bear cub hanging on to a tree branch.
The art for Br’er Fox included the character holding Br’er Rabbit by his ears.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure picks up after the events of “The Princess and the Frog.” In 1927, Tiana founded the Tiana’s Foods co-ops, which is located in a salt mine, where cultivators grow crops along the waters. During Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, Tiana and alligator Louis venture into the bayou to find animal friends. They’re preparing a special Mardi Gras celebration for the people of New Orleans.
The scene depicted in the above concept art is “the thrilling moment you first drop into the bayou and encounter some friends both new and familiar.” Louis and a band of animals will be playing zydeco music, a blend of rhythm and blues that was created in Louisiana. The band of animal friends includes an otter, a rabbit, a raccoon, a beaver, and a turtle playing instruments made from natural bayou elements.
This ride will feature 17 new characters, including Prince Naveen’s younger brother, Ralphie. The Splash Mountain track will remain, but the attraction will get new set dressing and a vast range of new audio-animatronics. There will be multiple Tiana audio-animatronics, and she will sport a new adventuring outfit.
The queue and attraction music is being arranged by award-winning artists PJ Morton and Terence Blanchard, who will mix classic songs from the movie with New Orleans classics and original compositions. The scent of beignets is also set to be pumped throughout the queue.
Some of the original cast will be providing their voices to the attraction, including Anika Noni Rose (Tiana), Bruno Campos (Naveen), Michael Leon Wooley (Louis), and Jennifer Lewis (Mama Odie). Concept art shows Mama Odie in the crow’s nest of her crashed ship home, with colorful bottle lights hanging around her.
Were you a fan of Splash Mountain? Are you excited to see the transformation of the attraction into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure? Share your thoughts with us in the comments.

Some of the construction walls that once surrounded the Moana attraction have come DOWN! We stopped by EPCOT today to get an updated look at the space.
What’s this?! Some of the construction walls have been taken down near Journey of Water – Inspired by Moana in EPCOT! pic.twitter.com/4pViJVRXYy
Now, keep in mind that some construction walls remain up nearby…
Some Are Still Up
…but others are now down and have been replaced with hedges.
WOW!
Over the hedges, you can get a little peek at the attraction!
A Bit of the Attraction
The attraction is meant to be a “lush exploration trail” that allows guests to “play with magical, living water” through an immersive, self-guided walk-through experience. Disney has shared that guests will also “learn about the importance of the natural water cycle.” You can see a sign in one part of the attraction that specifically is for “The Water Cycle.”

From After Hours events and holiday parties to special tours behind the scenes at the theme parks, there are quite a few ways to enhance your trip. And if you’re celebrating something like a birthday, graduation, or anniversary, you can even add on a special delivery!
Earlier this year, Disney World announced that they would be discontinuing Disney Floral & Gifts, and that the services would pass on to a third-party retailer. Now, we’ve got all the details about this new partnership and how it works!
The new business name is Magical Floral & Gifts, in partnership with Florida Fresh Florals, LLC. If you’re staying at “any open Walt Disney World® Resort, as well as open Good Neighbor resorts and hotels located on Walt Disney World® Resort property,” you can purchase one of their available gift deliveries.
They deliver all packages and floral items to the Walt Disney World Resort Front Desks. According to their terms, “The resort team will notify guest in the room that there is a package for them. Delivery of the package is coordinated between the front desk team and the guest.”
Pricing for these offerings varies depending on what you order, but floral arrangements generally start at $60, balloons start at $45, and gift baskets start at $74.99. The gift options available will vary depending on when you order and are subject to change at any time.
In terms of delivery dates/times, the website notes “Any order placed by 12 PM EST will be delivered that day. For orders placed after 12 PM EST, delivery will be made the following day. Delivery fee is only $10 per order.”
If you need to cancel an order, note that most orders can be canceled with 48 hours notice, but “orders that include personalized items may not be canceled.” If you want to place an order, visit the Magical Floral and Gifts website. You can also call 888-814-8718 or email [email protected] for assistance.
We’ll make sure to keep you updated with any more details on this new partnership, so stay tuned to DFB for the latest news and information. We’ll keep you in the loop!

Most Disney fans know that the only constant in the parks is change — and that has been especially true as of late.
Disneyland
Disney World is going through a massive transformation in the parks, hotels, and more, and Disneyland is getting quite the sprucing up as well. As part of the Walt Disney Company’s 100th Anniversary, a new show debuted at Disneyland — and if you haven’t had the chance to check it out yet, you might want to hurry!
Disney previously shared that “Wondrous Journeys,” the current fireworks show that takes place at Disneyland, will end on August 31st, 2023. That means this week is your last chance to catch this show for the rest of the year!
Wondrous Journeys
After that, the “Halloween Screams” show will begin, and then once the spooky season ends in Disneyland, we expect that some sort of holiday-themed show or spectacular will be arriving! We haven’t heard any official announcements about a holiday show just yet, but we’ll be keeping an eye out for updates on that.
Wondrous Journeys
It’s possible that once the holidays are over, “Wondrous Journeys” might return, but we could also see a different fireworks show make its way to the park since this one was new for the 100th Anniversary Celebration.
“Wondrous Journeys” celebrates 100 years of Walt Disney Animation Studios with lively music, projections on Sleeping Beauty Castle, and fireworks on select nights. Make sure you check this show out before it disappears for the Halloween season.
