As if RSVLTS wasn’t doing a good enough job with their Disney100 releases, now they are making us fall down the rabbit hole again with Alice in Wonderland! RSVLTS has three new Alice in Wonderland Kunuflex shirts available at RSVLTS.com in classic and women’s styles. The shirts retail for $70 and sizes range from XS – 4XL. Let’s take a look at the designs!
Curiouser and Curiouser
Alice fell down the rabbit hole and things got curiouser and curiouser. She met Tweedledee and Tweedledum, the Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter, and of course, the Queen of Hearts. They’re all on this shirt along with the White Rabbit and the dark background lets the muted and bright colors pop making the shirt almost more about the clash of colors versus the characters.
A World of My Own
Before Alice fell down the rabbit hole, she would daydream in the flowers with Dinah. This shirt showcases a bouquet of flowers covering the entire shirt with Alice and her cat Dinah laying in different positions admiring the flowers and butterflies.
Down the Rabbit Hole
Alice in Wonderland is absolutely trippy and things get crazy when Alice first falls down the rabbit hole while chasing the White Rabbit. This shirt almost has a tie-dye look to it with pastel colors as it showcases Alice falling down the rabbit hole and seeing the most peculiar things.
These shirts are available on RSVLTS.com now along with a variety of other Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, and Marvel designs!
The Disney Treasure and the so far unnamed seventh Disney Cruise Line ship will both reportedly feature Worlds of Marvel, a restaurant first introduced on the Disney Wish. While Worlds of Marvel has a screen-based interactive show featuring Ant-Man and the Wasp, new shows will debut on the new ships.
Worlds of Marvel Aboard Disney Treasure & Seventh Vessel
On the Disney Treasure, Disney Wish’s “Quantum Encounter” will still run on some nights, while a second show will run on other nights. This is at least partially because the Treasure will go on longer sailings, so guests will dine at Worlds of Marvel twice.
During the Worlds of Marvel: Quantum Encounter experience, Ant-Man and The Wasp host a quantum technology showcase that goes wrong. Guests help the heroes by clicking the buttons on the quantum core on their tables and can also purchase a quantum core souvenir.
Other superheroes that appear during the show include Captain Marvel, Captain America, and Ms. Marvel.
Clips of Spider-Man were later added to the show and Spider-Man walked the restaurant after the show ended instead of Ant-Man and The Wasp.
The Disney Treasure will set sail in 2024. More details will be released on August 30 with the premiere of “Unlocking the Disney Treasure: Adventure Awaits Onboard Disney’s Newest Ship.”
The seventh ship is expected in 2025.
What sorts of future interactive Marvel experiences would you like to see from Disney Cruise Line? Let us know in the comments.

We all know Hot Topic has a very specific look and feel, but along with some of their edgier products are plenty of awesome Disney items too. A new Ghirardelli sign featuring Japanese characters has been installed atop the Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop in San Fransokyo Square at Disney California Adventure.
New Ghirardelli Sign
“Ghirardelli” is in big red lettering, while the red Japanese characters below mean “chocolate.”
The Japanese words on the balcony below were added a few days ago and mean “hot fudge sundaes” and “chocolate,” just like the English words beside them.
Pre-existing Pacific Wharf locations like the Cappuccino Cart and The Bakery Tour will now be decked out in street art and colorful banners celebrating the “Big Hero 6” team. Baymax Bread will also be available at the Boudin Bread Cart.
Guests will be able to interact with Hiro and Baymax (who will talk) outside the Hamada Bot Shop. Nearby will be the San Fransokyo Maker’s Market, a storefront stocked with unique apparel, homewares, and more featuring Baymax and friends.
Across from the Maker’s Market, vending machines will offer golden medallions featuring Baymax and other San Fransokyo images. Dining options include current Pacific Wharf venues and new options inspired by Asian cuisine and “Big Hero 6.”
Pacific Wharf Café is being transformed into Aunt Cass Café, the second bakery café operated by Hiro’s aunt. It will serve soups in freshly baked Boudin sourdough bread bowls and more inspired by Japanese cuisine.
An old fishing net tannery across from the café is Rita’s Turbine Blenders, a giant drink dispenser offering margaritas and icy beverages. This refreshment stand is owned by and named after the repair technician who maintains the floating wind turbine, resembling a giant koi fish, that sits atop the structure. Read our Rita’s Turbine Blenders review.
Will you be visiting San Fransokyo Square soon? Let us know in the comments.

What’s Happened
Picture it — you’ve just ordered your food at a Quick Service restaurant in Disney World and it includes 5 separate sodas/other drinks for the family. You go to pick it up and what might you be expecting? Well, you might have pictured that your drinks would come in cups with lids and straws. But that typically will NOT be what you’ll encounter!
Generally, you WILL NOT find plastic lids for standard drinks in the parks (though there are some exceptions). Plastic straws are also generally NOT available in DisneyWorld, though you will often find some alternative straw types available (like paper straws or straws made of other materials).
Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe Spread (No Lids on the Drinks!)
This has been the case for years, though if you haven’t been to Disney World in a while you might not be prepared for it. While it might not seem like a huge deal at first, carrying several drinks WITHOUT lids can lead to a seriously messy situation if you happen to bump into anything! What could have been a tiny spill can suddenly become a big one. And if you simply must have a straw for your drinks (and don’t love paper straws) that could complicate things.
So…what’s going on?
Disney’s Goals
Well, it all has to do with Disney’s environmental goals. Back in 2018, they actually set out a series of commitments to eliminate single-use plastic straws and more from their locations around the world.
In their report of 2030 environmental goals, Disney notes that as a result of these things they “have permanently eliminated more than 200 million plastic straws and stirrers annually.”
Lunar Lemonade
Disney has more goals to continue reducing single-use plastics in its food and beverage service areas, among other things.
So, what’s going on now? Well, if you haven’t been to Disney World for a bit you might be wondering what the status of this situation is. So we asked Cast Members at various Disney World locations to see what the restaurants do and don’t offer.
Generally, we found that most locations no longer offer plastic lids with their drinks. At some, you could find straws (though these will generally be made of paper or biodegradable materials — a.k.a. not plastic). In some places, the straws may be more readily available, while other places might ONLY provide you with a straw if you specifically request it.
Frozen Mint Julep
This can, of course, vary depending on the restaurant you visit, the day you visit, and even the Cast Member you speak with, so just keep that in mind.
Here’s a look at what we found while asking Cast Members about the situation. Again, remember that this is based on what we encountered and the situation can vary, so be sure to ask what things are like during your trip.
Magic Kingdom
Sleepy Hollow — A Cast Member said they do not offer lids but do have straws
Friar’s Nook — A Cast Member said they don’t have lids. We did not see any straws available at the condiments station
We recently grabbed a drink at a Joffrey’s Coffee location and were provided with a plastic lid, along with a straw made of alternative materials (not plastic)
Joffrey’s Frozen Lemon with Strawberry Syrup
Animal Kingdom
Note that Disney World’s rules specify “Plastic straws are not permitted at Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park.”
Again, you should generally expect to NOT receive a lid for your drink in Disney World. Generally, you also will NOT find plastic straws. Some locations will have paper straws or straws made of other materials, however.
What You Can Do
Don’t love the idea of having a drink without a lid? Not a fan of paper straws? Here’s what you can do!
First, consider purchasing a souvenir cup/sipper. These typically come with lids and straws of their own that you can clean and reuse throughout your trip. Then, you can grab that strawless and lidless drink and just pour it into your sipper.
Candy Corn Donald Duck Sipper
You could also bring your own tumbler or water bottle to keep reusing during the trip. There are a whole BUNCH of different options on places like Amazon. One option could be this Brita Filtered Water Bottle which comes with a straw and could totally be used on the go throughout your trip.
The key here is to be prepared and just to know what you generally will and won’t find in the parks. Again, note that things can change so you can ask to see what the situation is like during your trip. Be sure to stay tuned for more updates from Disney World!

What do you usually do when it comes to drinks in Disney World — drink your beverage without a straw or lid? Or bring a special cup? Tell us in the comments.
However, we aren’t as lucky as some of the other folks around the world. Over at Hong Kong Disneyland, things are really progressing as we grow nearer to the completion of World of Frozen — the park’s Frozen-themed land. World of Frozen will feature character meet and greets, an attraction similar to Frozen Ever After, and the first Frozen-themed roller coaster, Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs. Disney just shared some NEW details regarding the land, and we are SO excited!
Disney shared that World of Frozen is set to open in November, 2023! Over on Instagram, they shared a video with a few highlights throughout the land. Check them out with us!
Disney shared a close-up of the details on a clock tower. It’s little Elsa and Anna!
Of course, there will also be real-life Elsa and Anna available for guests to meet. And just look at the cute buildings! Is that a Cast Member costume we spy?
They also shared Anna and Elsa standing in front of what absolutely has to be a castle. We couldn’t get a super great look at it, but that’s definitely the Arendelle Castle, right?
We also saw Anna and Elsa wander off toward the clock tower we saw at the beginning, which seems to be the entrance to the Frozen Ever After attraction!
We’re so excited over these little details and we can’t wait to learn more. Disney did say that we could expect more details regarding World of Frozen in the very near future. We’ll keep our eye on things so that you guys can stay in the loop, too! Make sure to follow along for more!

It’s probably safe to assume that majority of Disney World visitors have gotten to Orlando via plane. (Except for you, Florida residents. We’re very jealous of you.)
Traveling soon?
However, if you’re in a situation where you can easily drive within a day to Disney World, like if you live in a surrounding state, now might be a good time to skip out on the flight for a change and drive to the magic. While flying is undeniably quicker and easier in most circumstances, some issues lately might make you rethink your choice and inspire you to take a road trip.
It probably comes as no surprise that the airline industry has taken a series of enormous hits that seemed to start with the COVID-19 pandemic. From airline shortages to natural disasters, so much can impact a single flight — which often causes a chain reaction. Some of these scenarios might be great reason for you and your crew to hop in the car to travel to your next vacation. Let’s talk about it!
Inclement Weather on Both Coasts
According to CNN, thousands of flights have been cancelled in August alone as bad weather hit the East Coast. This, of course, was followed by Hurricane Hilary’s affect on the West Coast, cancelling more flights.
Weather has cancelled thousands of flights already this fall
Unfortunately, August likely doesn’t mark the end of inclement weather, especially on the East Coast, which leads us to the next reason you might want to rethink flying.
Hurricane Season
According to the National Hurricane Center, September 10th will likely mark the peak of hurricane season. Of course, this is something that can’t always be predicted, and Florida could be struck with rainy, stormy weather at any point throughout the fall.
Air fare could increase in 2024
To be safe, we’d consider not flying until later in October or November if you’re worried about weather delays, but this is just based on predictions from the Hurricane Center.
Holidays
We’re getting to the point of the year where Disney World is about to be … slammed. First, there’s fall break. Then, there’s Halloween. Then, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s. Disney World will likely be packed, and so will the airports.
Hollywood Studios Christmas Decorations
To avoid waiting in long lines at the airport, you could skip that part completely and just drive! The roads will also likely be busy here and there, but for some, that could be more manageable.
Lost Luggage
According to a BBC article, airlines are experiencing a peak in the amount of lost luggage in 1o years. Although the article did say that these numbers seem to be recovering and trending downward, it’s still not something you want to risk if you can help it. Of course, you don’t have to check a bag if you do choose to fly. This problem can be easily solved by simply packing only carry-on bags.
MCO
However, if you know you will have to check baggage for whatever reason, we’d consider driving to save yourself the anxiety.
Pilot Shortage
Over the past few years, airlines have had a decline in pilots, which has ultimately resulted in a pilot shortage. Because of this, there have been numerous delays and cancellations across the country. According to a New York Post article, this shortage could last for another decade.
Southwest
Greater risk of flight delays and cancellations might be enough to make many of you reconsider flying.
What do you think? Will you continue flying or consider driving to Disney World? There really is no wrong answer, but it’s something important to consider when planning for a stress-free Disney vacation! Make sure to follow along for more tips and advice!
