A new map of Disney Cruise Line’s upcoming Disney Treasure ship has surfaced and features some surprising Easter eggs. The Disney Treasure map is appropriate for the adventure-inspired ship, which we already know will have an Agrabah-themed atrium.
David Vaughn shared a photo of the Disney Treasure map on Twitter.
The map is of an island shaped like the Disney Treasure cruise ship, with two mountain ranges (maybe representing the two stairwells and elevator banks of the ship) surrounded by various buildings, rocky structures, and characters.
Here are the IPs and icons we noticed:
Frozen (top left)
Zootopia (below Frozen)
The Incredibles (Omnidroid on Nomanisan Island, bottom left)
Marvel (Cap’s shield and quantum core)
Beauty and the Beast (rock versions of Lumiere and Cogsworth)
Moana (Maui’s hook in the water at bottom left, village and HeiHei at center right)
Star Wars (Porgs above Nomanisan and X-Wing at top right)
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (Nautilus and squid in the water, bottom center)
Toy Story (Rex and Trixie, bottom right center)
Aladdin (Agrabah representing the atrium at center and Cave of Wonders at bottom right)
Spaceship Earth (top center)
Alice in Wonderland (teacups above HeiHei)
The Lion King (Pride Rock, center right)
The Jungle Book (Bagheera in the jungle, center right)
Coco (Santa Cecilia, far right)
Rapunzel (Rapunzel’s tower, far right)
Peter Pan (Neverland and pirate ship, far right)
The teaser video released with the announcement of “Unlocking the Disney Treasure: Adventure Awaits Onboard Disney’s Newest Ship” already included locations that could reference “Coco,” “Up,” “Encanto,” and Jungle Book. “Unlocking the Disney Treasure: Adventure Awaits Onboard Disney’s Newest Ship” will premiere on the Disney Parks Blog on Wednesday, August 30 at 11:00 a.m. ET.
The video is narrated by a new character, Arthur Quinn, who states his family has explored far-off lands in search of magical realms for years. The character could be connected to the Society of Explorers and Adventurers.
Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is not everyone’s favorite resort, but I definitely have a soft spot for this hotel. I spent a lot of time here during my teenage years, and I quickly fell in love with how big and peaceful the resort felt. One of the best perks is being so close to Disney Springs and being able to hop on a boat or use the walking path to get there. This means there are plenty of food options surrounding the hotel, but today, we are focusing on the food available at the resort.
The Artist’s Palette is a quick-service restaurant open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This dining location just got a few exciting menu items because the menu needed some new food. Lunch and dinner have a mix of gourmet sandwiches, salads, and grab-and-go items. They recently added new dinner-exclusive items to the menu and build-your-own entrees, which I would love to try.
The ambiance here isn’t the best, but I think it’s charming and cozy, even though it feels dated. Next to the restaurant, there’s a store where guests can buy Disney and DVC member merchandise.
I have never had a bad experience here. As I mentioned above, I stayed at the resort a lot during my high school years, and for me, it’s all nostalgic. When I eat breakfast here, it truly feels like I’m getting ready for a jam-packed Disney day.
The Turf Club Bar and Grill is a table-service dining location, and reservations are accepted, but I don’t think those reservations disappear fast. The restaurant is described as a place where guests can savor classic American cuisine in a racetrack clubhouse setting. If you get seated before the sun goes down, you’ll have a beautiful view of the golf course and the lake.
The menu has seven different entrees at the moment and a great mix of options. Personally, I would order the Carrot-filled Agnolotti, which is made with house-made agnolotti pasta, carrot puree, royal trumpet, maitake mushrooms, and truffle onion “cream.” Doesn’t that sound delicious? Other items on the menu that might catch your attention are the pan-seared Salmon, grilled filet mignon, and grilled pork chop. The prices for the entrees range from $23 to $38, which isn’t too horrible. I do want to note that there is a plant-based item in each section of the menu.
The Turf Club Lounge
The lounge is in a space just outside the restaurant. Here, guests can look out the windows and see Disney’s Buena Vista Golf Course and Disney Springs. The menu features light food items, and according to Disney, the ambiance here will leave you feeling light on your feet.
The lounge menu doesn’t offer a lot of small bites, but at least they have some decent plates. The bar has beer, wine, a long cocktail list, and non-alcoholic beverages. The space isn’t the prettiest, but it does have large windows that look out to the golf course and the waterways, which is beautiful. I hope this entire area gets refurbished one day so it can feel less dated while still showcasing the resort’s theme.
Pool Bars
There are three pool bars that serve food: The Paddock Grill, On The Rocks, and the Backstretch Pool Bar. The one with the most to offer is The Paddock Grill, located toward the back of the resort (near Disney Springs), which is pretty far from Artist’s Palette, hence why they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner here.
On The Rocks is located in the main pool area, and they serve salads, sandwiches, chicken strips, and thin-crust pizzas. Over at the Backstretch Pool Bar (open seasonally), located by part of the golf course, they serve snacks like hot dogs, nachos, pretzels, pasta salad, sandwiches, and fruit cups.
Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is a huge Disney Vacation Club resort with over 1,000 rooms. It’s also a peaceful hotel with numerous walking paths and gorgeous views. The food here hasn’t also gotten the best reputation, but I suggest giving it a try at least once. If you could add another dining option to this resort, what would it be?
The Walt Disney Company’s stock ($DIS) reached a fresh 52-week low this morning. What’s Happening: This morning, $DIS fell to a new 52-week intra-trading day low of $83.09 (as of 11:15 a.m. ET), falling more than 3% so far. Furthermore (as Marketwatch notes), should the stock end the day in this region, it would be the […]
Disney Floral & Gifts is a Disney-operated service that typically allows you to order gift baskets, floral arrangements, and more for your vacation (or even for others as a surprise). For years, many may have relied on this service to make their trips (or those of their friends and family members) a little more special. But soon, this service will NO longer exist…at least not in its current form.
A basket from Disney Floral and Gifts
Back in June, Disney announced that starting August 27th these floral and gift operations will be transitioned to a third-party service — Florida Fresh Floral. The Floral and Gifts website confirms this and notes that for now, online and phone orders are only accepted for delivery dates through August 26th, 2023.
Those who had placed orders through Disney Floral & Gifts for delivery dates on August 27th and later were set to be refunded. Also, those who want to order a special gift basket to be delivered on or after August 27th are “encouraged to check back” on the website closer to their arrival for options with the new vendor.
There are still a few gift basket options available through Disney Floral and Gifts until that August 26th delivery date. You can opt for one that celebrates the 100th Anniversary…
Thus far, Disney hasn’t shared any other updates about the transition to Florida Fresh Floral but we’ll continue to be on the lookout for news. No release year for this set was shared, unlike other leaks provided by Falconbricks, so it’s possible this set will come out in 2023 instead. No pricing has leaked, either, but the set is estimated to cost around $40.

Oh boy, planning a Disney trip can be quite the adventure, and we totally get it! But fear not, dear friends, we compiled EVERYTHING you need (and the things to avoid!) to plan the ULTIMATE Disney vacation.
Whether you’re a rookie or a seasoned pro, our insider tips and tricks will have you exploring the parks like never before. So come along with us, and get planning your most magical vacation ever!
For those of you who want a little extra flavor, need a sweet treat, or are looking for something new to try in Disney World, come with us as we review an updated version of a classic Disney drink. Off to EPCOT!
Before we dive in, let us acquaint you with a little place calledJoffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company. Some Disney fans actually prefer Joffrey’s over Starbucks — it’s that popular! So, Joffrey’s makes a Frozen Lemonade that is great for a hot day in the parks, but now we found a way to give this drink an UPGRADE!
Frozen Strawberry Lemonade is available at Joffrey’s! Frozen lemonade has always been on the menu, but now you can add flavors to it (including green apple, and blue raspberry too)! pic.twitter.com/wOQnHWJtdB
We tried the Signature Frozen Lemon with Strawberry Syrup for $6.39 in EPCOT. Joffrey’s Signature Frozen Lemonade is a classic menu item (it’s even made with Minute Maid Lemonade!), and now you can add strawberry, blue raspberry, or sour green apple syrup. If you’re in the mood, you can even add Grey Goose Vodka!
Signature Frozen Lemon with Strawberry Syrup
This drink was bright, fresh, and light! Even with the sweet addition of the strawberry syrup, our drink was quite tart with the perfect amount of sweetness. This is a fun, flavorful drink we were happy to have on a (VERY) hot summer day in Disney World.
Yum!
Keep in mind that the amount of syrup they add to your drink may vary from time to time, and it’s a little tricky to get that frozen ice to mix with the syrup. If you don’t want to drink a blast of syrup all at once, you may need to give it a couple extra stirs in your cup. This is a pretty self-explanatory drink, so if you like cold, fruity drinks, give it a try!
In the meantime, we’re always on the lookout for the latest Disney news, so stay tuned for more.

Tiana’s Palace, a new Princess and the Frog-themed dining location is set to debut on September 7th, 2023 — taking over the old French Market Restaurant in New Orleans Square. We recently got a look at what will be on the menu, but now we have a complete list with prices — come take a look!
First up, this new quick-service spot has a Seasonal Offering — the Lily Pad and Lotus Cup Ceramic Set for $34.99. You’ll also notice the desserts are listed first! You’ll be able to get House-filled Beignets for $4.49.
There are also some Southern Specialties, like the Buttermilk Cornbread for $3.99 and the Joffrey’s Coffee Chicory Cold Brew for $5.99. If you’re looking for something plant-based, the 7 Greens Gumbo is $14.49.
We’re sure Janet from your spin class has some great advice, but these are seven genius Disney World tips you actually need.
Order kids meals at quick-service restaurants
Looking to save a few bucks in the parks? Or maybe you’re just not that hungry at the moment. No problem — adults can actually order kids meals at quick-service (A.K.A. fast food) restaurants throughout Disney World. Oftentimes, this can come in handy when you’re just looking for something small and quick that hits the spot. Our favorite way to do this is via Mobile Order, so we can just place our order in the My Disney Experience app and go pick it up.
Cheeseburger Pod Kid’s Meal from Satu’li Canteen in Animal Kingdom
You might find yourself a souvenir or two on your trip that you just can’t stop thinking about — trust us, there are plenty of them to choose from. And some of them happen to be a bit more substantial than others, too. What happens if you buy something and then have to lug it around with you for the rest of the day? Sure, you could rent a locker to store it in, but that only adds to your costs.
Halloween in Magic Kingdom
Instead, we recommend shopping at night when you’re on your way out of the parks. The shops stay open as late as the parks do (sometimes even later!) which means the stores will likely be far less crowded, too. You do run the risk of potentially losing out on some more popular souvenirs this way, but if know that something will be around later in the day — consider waiting until you’re leaving to make the purchase!
Don’t leave right after the fireworks at night
A lot of Disney World first-timers are under the misconception that once fireworks end, so does everything else in the parks. But that’s simply not the case! Some parks stay open after fireworks shows and Disney gives folks time to casually saunter their way out. Not only that, but because people tend to think the parks close after the show — they clear out. With fewer people, you might have time to actually stop and take it all in.
Happily Ever After
Along the same lines, book later dining reservations. A lot of Disney World restaurants will stay open after the park officially closes and you could get the chance to walk out of a particular spot into a mostly empty park. This also gives you the opportunity to take some seriously incredible photos — one of our favorite things to do is book late reservations at Oga’s Cantina in Hollywood Studios and take photos of an empty Galaxy’s Edge. Cast Members won’t let you go further into the park after closing, but they’ll usually let you take your time heading out.
Familiarize yourself with My Disney Experience before your trip
Let’s face it — doing Disney World without your phone is pretty much impossible these days. Sure, it can be done, but it’s a lot easier when you’ve got everything you need in your pocket. The My Disney Experience app is Disney World’s one-to-shop for wait times, dining reservations, mobile ordering, tickets, payment, and even your hotel room key. There are so many things this app can do, and you don’t want to be overwhelmed when it comes to crunch time.
My Disney Experience
It may sound silly, but we suggest sitting down and getting to know MDE before you head to Disney World. See where wait times are, how to enter a virtual queue, where to access your Lightning Lane information, and more. We have plenty of guides on how to maximize it, too — just click here to check them out.
Bring souvenirs from home
We know that Disney World is expensive — and those souvenirs certainly add up. If you’ve got little ones who you know will be asking you for that perfect item, consider coming prepared and bringing them from home! Amazon, Target, and Walmart all carry Disney souvenirs at much lower prices than what you’ll find in the parks. Pick some up before heading out on your trip and you might just save a bit of dough.
The Little Mermaid Bubble Wands
If your kids are young enough, they probably won’t know the difference and you’ve already got something to whip out when they ask for that special souvenir. We especially love this hack for bubble wands, fans, glowsticks, and ears!
Book dining during the hottest parts of the day
Disney World is HOT, people. Even for the most seasoned of Florida Natives and Disney World Pros, the summer heat can be unrelenting and that sun is no joke. Cooling towels can be great, and sunscreen is a must, but sometimes there is truly no replacement for getting out of the sun and taking a break. This is why we recommend booking table service meals during the hottest part of the day, which is usually lunch.
Jungle Skipper Canteen
Not only is it usually smack dab in the middle of your park day (A.K.A. the perfect mid-day break time) but it also allows you to get in the shade and air conditioning while also grabbing some grub! Dehydration and heatstroke can creep up on you when you least expect it, and taking a break for a meal can kill two birds with one stone. Time is precious in Disney World, so this can be a great tip!
