Two new park trash can-inspired pouches and two new charging cable bands were released at Tokyo Disney Resort.
Trash Can Pouches – ¥2400 ($16.39)
The pouches are styled after iconic park trash can designs found at Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySEA. The blue pouch is modeled after the garbage cans found in and around the Tower of Terror at Tokyo DisneySEA. The cans are a deep blue with the logo for the New York City Preservation Society on all four sides, which is the organization in the attraction’s backstory dedicated to preserving the Hotel Hightower, the setting of Tokyo’s Tower of Terror. The green pouche is designed to resemble the oxidized copper green-colored garbage cans found around World Bazaar, the park’s version of Main Street, U.S.A.
Each pouch comes with an attached caribiner in a complementing color so you can clip the can somewhere handy. The back of the pouches have “Tokyo Disney Resort” molded into the design.
The trash can bags, each approximately 15cm in length, both zip up with a matching color zipper to keep your trinkets, treasures, or trash safe inside.
These pouches will only be available at Tokyo Disneyland and sold as a set.
Toontown Street Lamp & Parking Meter Cable Bands – ¥1600 ($10.97)
This colorful cable band set has one band designed to look like the street lights in Toontown, complete with traffic-directing hands. The other band resembles the parking meters with their cheeky slot machine face design.
These bands can be bent and manipulated and will hold their position. Each cable band is about 17 cm tall.
This image shares the use instructions for the band. The top text states that the bands can be bent, twisted, and transformed freely to bundle cables. The text by the lamppost suggests that you can “decorate with it and lean it against your wall, etc.” The text underneath the wrapped cable on the right indicates that the target age is 12 and up.
The cable band set is available at both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySEA.
