Reservations are now open for Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya, a new restaurant coming to the Japan Pavilion at EPCOT.
The restaurant has soft-opened, but its grand opening is officially August 30, 2023. We will be visiting for a review later today.
Reservations are available on the Walt Disney World website for August 28 onwards. Shiki-Sai will open at noon for lunch. Lunch service technically runs until 3:55 p.m., but it’s the same menu as dinner service, which runs from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
At Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya, guests will experience seasonal favorites of Japan. With each month comes a different celebration, from “hanging tanzaku to celebrate Tanabata in July to savoring moon-viewing dumplings in September.” A cultural representative from Japan will guide guests through each festival. There will be a full menu with sushi and teppan items, as well as an open sushi bar and grill. Guests sitting at the sushi bar will be able to watch chefs make sushi.
Check out the full Shiki-Sai menu with pricing.
Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya is located on the second floor of the Japan Pavilion, with views of the World Showcase Lagoon and nighttime spectaculars.
