A new treat, the Peanut Butter Whoopie Pie, has landed at Sunshine Seasons in EPCOT. We took a trip out to the park to try it for ourselves. This can be found in The Land pavilion of World Nature.
Peanut Butter Whoopie Pie – $4.29
chocolate brownie sandwich with peanut butter filling, chocolate shavings, whipped cream, and powdered sugar
Have you ever tried a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup? Imagine that, but better. That’s what you’ll get with this whoopie pie.
The brownie that sandwiches the peanut butter is soft, with just enough powdered sugar to not be super sticky.
The peanut butter filling is light and fluffy, with just enough saltiness to give you that ever-satisfying combination of sweet and savory up against the chocolate.
The whipped cream on top almost goes unnoticed, thanks to all the sweet and salty goodness of the whoopie pie itself.
For us, we think it’d be a perfect snack to split with a friend or two.
Even though we enjoyed it, we found it to be very rich and could be a little heavy for some on a hot theme park day.
Overall, we think this is a solid and safe option if you’re a Reese’s lover and you’re looking for that same flavor experience.
